Chapter 5

The hues of the sun had long settled below the horizon and as the light of day clocked out the darkness of night clocked in.

Taehyung sat against the field goal post by his lonesome. Hobi had wandered off with Jimin and Jin went to go find Namjoon. The autum winds begin to hit him as the football field lit up with luminous stadium lights.

About thirty minutes passed and Taehyung was beginning to wonder if his friends were ever going to come back. He opened their group chat and sent multiple messages, but obtained no response.

"Hey cutie." Taehyung looked up from his phone and a blush quickly took over his cheeks.

Was this Jin's doing? Did Jin send him over here?

"You look hotter in person, but you probably already know that. I'm Jungkook." The male sat down beside Taehyung.

"T-Taehyung." He whispered.

"What was that doll?" Jungkook leaned his ear closer to the boy.

"I'm Taehyung." His voice was still low but not as quiet as before.

"Well Taehyung, would you like to go get a drink?"

"A drink? From where?" Taehyung looked at the boy confusion lacing his brow.

"Come on my Hyung Namjoon has the good stuff." He grabbed Taehyung's hand and pulled him from the ground.

Upon arriving to what appeared to be Namjoon's car Taehyung finally knew why one of his Hyungs wasn't returning his texts. There stood Jin clearly preoccupied by Namjoon's tongue down his throat.

"Um were we interrupting something?" Jungkook coughed as Namjoon pulled away from Jin.

"No, not at all." Namjoon bit his lip and Jin giggled.

"We came to get buzzed so where's the juice." Namjoon pointed to the passenger seat of the car as Taehyung passed Jin he threw him a cheesy wink.

Taehyung smiled to himself.

"Here we go." Jungkook emerged from the car with two red solo cups filled to the brim with a bright pink liquid.

"Cheers to being seniors ?"

"Cheers to being seniors." He smiled and let his cup clank with the younger males.

Taehyung took little sips while Jungkook finish his in one go.

"Light weight?" Jungkook questioned while refilling his cup.

"I just don't drink much." Taehyung took another sip before setting the cup on the hood of the car. Jungkook downed his drink and set it on the hood as well.

"So, who's your girlfriend?" Taehyung blushed a little.

"I'm single, girls aren't really my type."

"Lucky me." The younger drew his bottom lip between his teeth.

"How are things with Mihun?" Taehyung mentally kicked himself.

Why would I cock block myself ?

"We were better as friends in my opinion she's just so-." He didn't get to finish his sentence due to him seeing her silhouette approaching.

"Speaking of the devil." He mumbled, rolling his eyes.

"Oppa." She pouted, "I was looking for you."

"I thought you were with Suji I just came to get a drink." He explained.

"Who's this?" She beckoned while eyeing Taehyung.
