2.Waking up to no parents

Lydia's pov

It's very dark but I can hear what people say. Cmon lydia you have to wake up. I miss talking to you and seeing you happy but I won't see that soon. What does she mean by that? I try to open my eyes but they won't budge so I try my hand that Lola is holding and I squeeze her hand then I try my eyes again and it works.

Lola's pov

I keep talking to Lydia's sleeping body when I feel someone squeeze my hand and I jumped up and saw that Lydia's eyes opened I leaned over and gave her a bear hug crying cause my bestfriend is okay and awake then I remembered that once she woke up and was good to leave I would never see her again. I went to go get the doctor and tell him that lydia was awake.

Lydia's pov

When Lola realized I was awake she leaned over and gave me a bear hug crying. I said its ok then she went to go get a doctor. Hello Lydia I'm Dr. McCall and how are you feeling today. I'm feeling good. Ok just let me so some test than you can go. Ok and doctor I asked. Yea she said. Are my parents ok I asked. Oh um no I'm sorry for your loss the fire department could only get you out before the car caught on fire she said. So I'm an orphan I asked. Yep and this police officer will take you home to get your stuff and take you to Mrs.maggy's orphanage. Ok I said starting to cry cause reality hit me hard because ill never see my parents,or my best friend again. Once the doctor was done with the tests she did she said I was good to go.

Nobody's pov

Once lydia changed she left with the police officer and they went to her house. They got out,went to her front door and lydia pulled up the rug and got the extra house key,unlocked the door and went inside. The police officer said to lydia grab all your stuff and pack it up and we can leave.

Lydia's pov

Once we got to my old home,we got out,I went straight to the welcome rug lifted it up and got the key. I unlocked the door and went inside. It still smells like my mom's perfume. The police officer said pack all your stuff and we can go. Ok I said. I went up stairs to my room got out all 6 of my zebra suit cases from under my bed. Two of my suitcases were filled with my clothes,one was filled with my toiletries,two were filled with my shoes,and my last one was filled with my books,and electronics. Once I got all my stuff I went to my parents room across the hall and grabbed their wedding rings,my moms perfume,also her scarf,and my dads picture of all three of us. I heard my dog barking in their room and grabbed a little suitcase and filled it with his stuff. Once I did that I grabbed his leash,put it on his collar,tryed to grabb everything but had to make two trips and told the police officer I was done and we put everything in the trunk except my dog. We got in and was on a long trip to beacon hills. The police officer said I should take a nap cause its gonna be a couple hours. Ok isaid and was out like a light.
