     Lydia's pov.

Hello my name is Lydia Martin and I'm a 15 year old hybrid. Today me and my mum are picking my dad from the airport cause he just got my from a business trip in Canada. Come on honey my mom said. Ok just let me get my wallet and phone I said. I grabbed my phone and wallet then walked down stairs. Then me and my mom headed outside to  her car. I climbed in the passenger side and my mom climbed in the drivers side then started the long car ride to the airport.

*At the airport*

When we arrived at the airport my mom shook me awake. Sweetie we are here my mom said. Ok thanks mom I said. Your welcome. Now come on let's go get your dad so we can go get some lunch my mom said. Ok and yess food yayy I said. Once we got in the airport we looked around for him until we heard our name. Lydia,Natalie my dad said. We missed you even though you were gone for a three days I said. I missed you guys to. Now come on let's get lunch and head home my dad said. Ok let's go my mom said. After we got in the car we buckled up and started heading to olive garden. When we got on the interstate this 18 wheeler wasn't paying any attention to us cause he was on the phone and he hit us. Ahhhhhhhhhhh I screamed then everything went black.

Nobody's pov

Somebody called 9-1-1 and then tried to get the family but they had no luck. When the police,ambulance,and fire department got here they could only get the girl out before the car caught fire and killed her parents.

Lola's pov

I was watching t.v when I got a call from the hospital. Hello I said. Hello are you Lola whittemore the lady asked. Yes this is she I said. Your on the next to kin list for Lydia martin and I called to tell you she is in a coma and her parents are dead she is at palmetto hospital the lady said. W-What. Ok I'm on my way I said starting to cry because the martin family is my second family. Mom can you take me to see Lydia at palmetto hospital please her parents died I said still crying. Oh my of course honey let's go my mom said. We got in the car and started heading to palmetto hospital. Once we got there I rushed out of the car and inside to the front asking the lady what room Lydia martin was in. She's in room 325 on the third floor sweetie the lady said. Ok thank you I said. C'mon mom let's go see Lydia I said. Ok let's go my mom said.

Nobody's pov.

So Lola and her mom Renee rushed to the elevator and pressed the button three. Once it was there they both rushed to room 325 only to see Lydia being rolled down the hall to the surgery area. I asked a random doctor Why is Lydia martin going into surgery? He said she has a broken leg,fractured wrist,big gash in her eyebrow,and broken ribbs. Oh dear my mom said.

*3 hours later*

They wheeled her in and she was still in a coma. Oh dear my baby my mom said. Lydia is like a second daughter to her. I really hope she wakes up soon I said.

My mom went to go get some food in the cafeteria. C'mon Lydia please wake up I miss talking to you and I won't get to soon. Please wake up sissy I said starting to cry cause she is like a sister to me.
