he's really starting to concern you now. he doesn't kiss you anymore; he doesn't make love to you anymore; it's almost like he makes excuses at night so he doesn't have to sleep with you anymore.
it's the most heart stopping thing you've ever experienced, other than your father's death years prior.
you can process all but none of it at the same time, but in truth you're not even worried for yourself or for your marriage. you're just worried for him.
he's become more distant, silent. he doesn't joke with you a lot, and when he does it's always half-hearted and dull. it makes your stomach churn.
even if you relationship has a fallout, nothing will ever stop you from caring for him. lover or friend, family or acquaintance--nothing will ever stop you from keeping him close to your heart.
you just hope he'll be true to you one day. and when he is, you'll forgive everything he's done and everything he'll do in the future. but only then. you can't accept everything just because it's him.
not until he's done both of you justice in this crime against lovers.
