The celebration was loud. No wonder Alia stayed in the forest. Though once I saw her in the village, being chased by a group of children. "Help! Shadow! Dion! Help me!" She would scream. I think she was genuinely scared of children. We would laugh. "Guys! My tail and ears are very sensitive." She would scream. Then a kid pulled her tail. She jump onto the roof of a three floor home. In one jump. She just sat there the rest of the celebration.
That night. I woke up to the sound of wings. I sit up and see Alia wasn't in her bed. Of course! She was probably on the roof. But was that noise? I look out the window and see something fly. It had... pink and black wings... with... gold tips. I was mad. I thought she had no more secrets. Yet here it is. Another big secret. I glare at Alia. I wake up Dion. I pointed out the window. He sees her. I hear laughter. She was flying around, not a care in the world. What's with all the secrets? Alia swoops down, clearly tired. My eyes widen. She looks towards where me and Dion were. We hid. She shrugged and continued to walked to the inn we are staying in. We stood near the door, furious with her. When she walks in, she sees us. "Really? More secrets? What's with you and your secrets?" I yelled at her. Her eyes widened. She was so scared and sad. She tried, and failed, to hold back tears. She cries, and grabs her things. She dropped a photo accidentally. She then runs out. I walk to the window and see her flying off, leaving a trail of shimmering tears. "Uh Shadow? You might want to see this." He had the picture she dropped. It was her, Shawn, and some other... no. No way he is her father. How could the dragon king be her father. He was part dragon and part demon, or so the stories say. And his queen. She was part angel and part fox. I look back out the window, and see Alia, but she changed. Her hair is gold, and her eyes are black and red. Her wings, ears, and tail all changed to match her hair and eyes. Even her clothes changed. Instead of white and pink, they were black and red. She was glaring at me. She roared like a dragon, which she is a dragon I suppose.
The next morning. Everyone glared at me. Even Dion. I ran into the lord. "Hmph. I suggest you get going. Apparently you angered the Fox-Angel Princess. We got arrows in all of our windows." Her muttered. "... She is real powerful, that one. Even if her parents weren't-" he cut himself off. He walked away to talk with some farmers. We gather our things and head to the forest. Dion would whistle occasionally, and something would whistle back. It was very suspicious. Five minutes later, we heard a scream. Distinctly female. Dion's eyes widen. It was Alia voice. He spread his wings, and flew. There were more screams from the south. We fly in that direction. We find Alia. She was half dead. Blood was seeping through wounds on her back. A arrow in her wing. I screamed and ran to her. Even though I was mad, she didn't deserve this. I carried her to the village. Everyone came out to look. Her breath was short and heavy. I drop her off at the medical office. The healer, a elf named Lyra, was quick to help. At least it seems everyone is ok with us now.
