I have to admit. Alia is a great help. I guess because she lives in nature she knows more about it. When we first stepped foot in to human territory, me and Shadow almost stepped in every trap on the boarder. First was a pit filled with poisonous snakes covered in leaves. It's summer, Alia pointed out, these leaves shouldn't have been on the ground. The second one was a net. Shadow ran ahead. He stepped in it. I laughed as Alia walked to a tree and cut the rope holding him in the air. He would have fallen on his face if I didn't catch him. The third one was harder. I fell in to a pit full of wolves, but Alia can apparently speak to wolves.
It was nighttime so Alia went to sleep high up in a tree. So. It seems that she prefers sleeping in a cave or in a tree. And how did she know how to climb a tree anyways? She lived in a cave!
I was talking to Shadow about her. For some unknown reason, she kept sneezing. "Why is she sneezing? Is she sick or anything?" I asked. That question got a arrow with a note tied to it in the ground next to me. So she  wasn't really sleeping. The note read, and I quoted:
Dude. I'm not asleep, first of all. Second, a deaf human could hear you. Third, shut up. Next time you talk loud, please know the next arrow will strike your mouth. Shadow raised his eyebrows, surprised. Wow she is really dangerous. "Who is she really?" Whispered Shadow. He was scared of Alia now. And truth be told, so was I.
The next morning. Shadow wanted to see if Alia was ready to go, so he knocked on the tree she was sleeping in. She sent a arrow down. Shadow almost screamed. She was ready. She jumped down, did a flip, then landed on her toes. She posed, waiting to see how we would react. Shadow and I stared at her. She raised a eyebrow, confused. She then realised what we were staring at. Her eyes widened and she blushed. She had fox ears. And a tail. They were pink and black, like her hair. The tips were golden. She pursed her lips, as if worried of our judgement. "Y-your a fox?" Shadow shuddered. She looked down (in shame?). So that's how she had good nature senses. She closed her eyes, fighting back tears. She climbed back up the tree. Then, she disappeared. I even climbed the tree to check. When I got back, I glared at Shadow. We decided to continue on. Almost immediately, we stepped in a trap. Five minutes later, a human man found us. He snickered. "Looks like some Demon folk wound up in our territory." He laughed in a hard gruff voice. He took down the net and dragged us to his village. People lined the streets, laughing and us. Some even threw tomatoes at us. The man took us to his lord. He had silver hair, deep brown eyes, and weathered skin. He snarled at us. "Demons! In my village. State your business." He growled. "We were passing through, sir. We mean no harm." I spoke. "Who are you then?" He asked. "I am commander Dion of the Demon. This is prince Shadow of the Demon." I interjected. "Take them to the prison. We don't support them-" he was cut short by a arrow sprouting next to his head. Our eyes widened. Only one person we knew was that good at archery. We looked around, but found nothing. Then, a shadow passed above us. There she was. Alia. Showing off her fox tail and ears. The villagers screamed. Then I noticed something odd. She had a charm drooping on her head. The symbol of the Fox royalty... wait she's royalty? "Come closer and you will find a arrow in your leaders forehead. Shadow and Dion may not be any harm. But I said no such thing that I would not harm anyone." She yell with power. Shadow blushed so bad it was visible on his neck. Alia jumped up and disappeared. The shock of her disappeared as though it went with her. Everyone celebrated. We were confused. The leader lumbered over to us. "We welcome Fox and their friends. If a fox was to help her friends in our village, we would get good luck. If they didn't, we would get bad luck." He informed. Shadow nodded. I walked to the edge of the town, where it met the forest. "Hey Alia. I know your there. But please. No more secrets. Thank you for helping us." Her eyes appeared, scaring me. She snickered. "Heh! Ok. No problem. But next time, try not to step in a trap would you. Anyways I would come join the celebrations, but I'm not very... social. But if you need help, look to the sky." She disappeared as Shadow found me. "What was that?" He asked. "A friendly fox." I answered.
