Chapter 6

After me and Amelia watch movies and eat ice cream we get ready for the football game. I put on my favorite space tank top, skinny jeans and my blue converse. Amelia puts on her Abercrombie ripped skinny jeans, white converse and a flowery tank. she puts on mascara and lipstick I do the same. we get in her car and drive to school. We find a seat next to Sophie. she looks happy probably because Stewart is waving at her and she tells good luck. Those two are in love I swear. I see Cody and wave he gives me a quick smile and a quick wave. Then he runs off. After the first quarter we are winning by two points. The cheer leaders are going crazy. And look thee is miss queen bee right at the top of the pyramid. Waving those Pom poms around like crazy, is the one and only Lucy. We won the game ,so that's good. After we all go out for I've cream. I ride with Cody in his car. A good Carrie Underwood song comes on so I turn it up. A couple seconds later Cody turns it down and switches the station. "hey I was listening to that." I say. "well I don't like that song." " How can you not like that song." "I just don't okay." "whatever." I say. Then he grabs my wrist, hard. He says " don't talk to me like that." "Are you my dad?" I say as we pull up and he parks. He still has a hold of my wrist and he grabs tighter. "No but I'm your boyfriend and you shouldn't treat me that way." " Cody your not the boss of me." He grabs my face and makes me look at him. " What is your problem your being a total b-." I yank back and say, "don't you even think about calling me that!" I can't believe it. I get out of the car and walk over to Amelia and Sophie. "Amelia can you take me home?" "Sure, are you ok?" " Ya I just don't feel good." "ok" Amelia and Sophie take me home. during the car ride I start crying. Amelia stops at her house and asks me what happened. I explain everything to them. As I'm explaining I see a dark look pass over Amelia's face. "What?" I ask her. "Well that sounds kinda like he was drunk." Oh wow I didn't even think of that. "You really think so?" I ask. "well its a possibility." I decided to spend the night at Amelia's again and so did Sophie. Later that night I found out that Cody had been drunk and was driving this girl to his place when he crashed. I couldn't believe I guess the world really did hate me today.
