CountryBoy!Erik Stevens x Black PlusSized Reader

A wooden picnic table sat off to the right of the barn. Several plates, silverware, and pieces of decor adorned the table. Music played from the speakers balanced on the fence posts, flowing over the handful of people at the small gathering. Your dust covered boots were your guide as you approached the decorated area.

A small group of men and their wives stood in separate groups around the grill, talking amongst each other. A few kids playing with the horses in the gated area beside the barn. You smiled as Erik's younger cousin shouted her hello, running over to give you a hug before she went back to the horses. When your eyes found Erik's, he was already looking at you.

He tucked both his hands in his pockets as you eased over to him, trying to hold back his smile. Dimples giving him away. You chuckled as you came to a stop before him. Raising an eyebrow, your lips gifted him a teasing smirk. "Always being the perfect nephew. It fits you, Stevens."

He let his smile break through fully, shoulders bouncing. "That's true, but I'd be the perfect husband too." Wiggling his eyebrows, he caught both your hands with his. Bringing them to his pillow lips to allow them to press a kiss to your soft skin.

You felt your body heat up, butterflies in your stomach beginning to flutter. The smile on your lips became larger and you allowed him to pull you into a hug. "I missed you, thickems." His voice seemed to growl in appreciation, humming to send a vibration through you and straight to yo- "Erik and his princess, sittin' in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G."

You both looked to the singing trio of girls, giggling as they sang. From across the yard, Aunt Nina called for them to leave her love birds alone. Which pulled a few teasing whistles from uncles in the group she stood by.

One of the little girls stuck their tongue out at Erik and he did it back, making all of them laugh before they ran off. You watched them, smiling softly as they left. "They're so cute."
Erik laughed as he lead you both to the table, "Cute as hell until they don't get their way. Then it's another story. I learned that the hard way." You raised an eyebrow at him, waiting for the story. "I watched them once when my aunt and uncle went out of town for work. Since I'm good with kids and I didn't mind. The youngest one, Bri-Bri, ain't like when I told her she couldn't get another cookie.. let's just say she got her cookie."

You laughed at that, imagining how Erik looked when she threw a tantrum. He could barely tell you no, so it wasn't a surprise that he gave into her. A part of you wished you could've seen him with them, watching him show off his fatherly potential.

"Dance with me?" His voice broke your thoughts, making you look to him. He stood before you with a grin as he held out a hand.

"You know I can't dance.." You pouted, looking up at him from your seat at the table. He let out a laugh, lifting you from the bench with a laugh. Holding his hand, you kept his gaze as he walked backwards from the tables and people that surrounded them.

"Come on. I'll take it easy on you." He teased with a little shoulder dance as he backed you both onto the dusty dance floor. "You trust me, right? Relax.."

He wiggled his thick eyebrows, smiling big enough to show a glimpse of his golden caps. Pulling you closer, he swayed you both to the music. You looked up at him, playfully rolling your eyes as you relaxed.

His hands fell to your hips, sitting appropriately on your hips. Though you wouldn't mind if they slipped a bit lower. "I know you can loosen up more than that, sweetness. I've seen your dancing sessions when you're cooking."

You chuckled at that, moving your hips a bit more. "First of all, Stevens, you weren't supposed to be seeing that. I specifically told you to watch the food, not me." Stepping back from him, you danced a little to a familiar beat that came from the speakers. Erik licked his lips at that memory, remembering the jiggle of your thighs and back side that night. Since that night he's offered to come over and help with dinner more often.

He shrugged, dancing around you as your eyes followed him. Once he disappeared behind you, his hands found your hips again. "Maybe I liked the view. You're very attractive, if I haven't told you before.." He had, many times whether boldly or slyly.

The scent of his cologne caught your nose and you hummed softly at its aroma. Erik always smelt good. You allowed him to dance behind you a while longer, just to enjoy his addictive scent and his warmth. Finally separating him gently away with a nudge from your backside, you threw a wink to him over your shoulder.

A song or two passed before some of the older couples joined you both, dancing only the entertaining way old heads could as the sun began to dim. You had stopped your dancing to cheer on Aunt Nina, watching her get down with her husband. She held her red solo cup high, shaking her hips to the beat.

Erik found himself behind you again, watching his aunt and uncle do their dance. Matching outfits and all. He chuckled, resting his head on your shoulder as he swayed you both once again. "If we ever got married, you think that'd be us?"

The question caught you off guard a bit, but you smiled at hearing him ask it. His voice was quiet as if he was envisioning it. You nodded, giggling before you replied. "That'd definitely be us."

You felt his smile as the dancing died down, his aunt confessing that she was tired. And she was ready to eat.

Everyone started heading towards the table except for you two, Erik catching your hand to make you stay. "Have I told you how pretty you are?"

You grinned, "Yes sir, you have. But I don't mind hearing it again." He chuckled, telling you how pretty you were a bit slower as he pulled you back to him. Looking up at him, you placed your hands on his chest. "Are you trying to keep me all to yourself, Stevens?"

He did a cute scrunching of his nose, "Just a little bit longer. My aunt loves taking you away from me."

"The food's done you two. Come get a plate so I can talk to my future niece." Aunt Nina called out, making you chuckle. Erik calling out to say that you both were coming, giving you a 'see what I'm saying' look.

You poked your lip out, cooing at him as you leaned closer. Much to his surprise, you kissed his cheek then the corner of his lips. Pulling back, you patted his chest twice as you found the daze in his face. You stepped away, turning to him one more time with an innocent smile. "Be nice, Erik. She is my future aunt, after all. And if that's the case, you'll have me to yourself more often."
