"Oh gosh, w-what have I done?" Ink said, choking back a sob. The skeletons behind him were silent. They knew what Ink had done. He had driven a supposedly a innocent monster to suicide. Dream was crying, he had riped any positive feelings for Error. He had helped Ink. He felt disgusted with himself.
They all helped to drive Error to suicide. Geno let a tear slip from his eye sockets. He had done literally nothing to Geno, but he still hated him. Error never even showed up to the save screen to bother him. Geno still went with the majority of people who wanted Error dead. How could he be so blind? So heartless to the monster? Without even knowing him.
Outer had tears in his eyes. He never knew that Error would do this. All because he couldn't escape the someone who made him do it. He could remember all the times he chased Error out of his AU. Error was literally doing nothing destructive and yet... The monster looked so happy to be finally dead. It made him want to puke. The bittersweetness in his eyes and smile, told sad and broken stories from the past. He also didn't attack back at him when Outer was driving him out.
Reaper had seen multiple, hundreds of suicides, but this... this was different. Error had lived longer then he had and had to suffer through it all. Nobody helped him. How could he not see? Reaper also hated his job like Error, but the difference was that more people tolerated Reaper. Him and Error wasn't that different now that he thinks about it. Why didn't he see from a different perspective from the start? Death and destruction. Error always fought in self defense then he fought Reaper. Why didn't he noticed it then?!
Then Ink... he felt grief and anger. He had been chasing Error for the longest time and it wasn't even his fault?! He didn't feel anger towards Error, no, god no. He feel it towards the person that made him do all of it. If just would have listened back then he could have saved him. But nooo, he just had to be stubborn and not listen. Oh when he gets his hands on the real, cruel destroyer he will crush them like they had crushed Error. He clenched his fists and stood up.
"We are going to find this cruel being and make them pay." He said without even turning around. "I will never let anyone get away with this."
His followers just nodded, agreeing with him. How could they say no? It's the let they could do for Error, get revenge for him. Ink walked over to them, not looking at any of them. He opened a portal that went to the meeting room. All the other Sanses where there, they were waiting for them to come back. The ones who just walked through the portal where avoiding any eye contact.
"Well?" Fell said, impatiently. Reaper took a deep breath.
"We found out from Error that someone was forcing him to do their dirty work." Reaper replied then sighed. The room was filled with gasps.
"And you believed him?" Stretch asked. Dream nodded.
"Well why don't we ask him for ourselves?!" Fell exclaimed. Ink finally looked at the Sanses at the table. Most of the Sanses agreed with Fell.
"No, you can't." Ink said seriously.
"And why is that?" Fellswap demanded.
"Because he is dead, he committed suicide when we got to Outertale. His last words were 'I wish I could stop, but unfortunately they won't let me to.'" The room was filled with horror as Reaper repeat his last words and said he had committed suicide.
"...so, he is really dead." Stretch mumbles.
"All this time and effort just to find out it's not really him..." Classic said guiltily and covered his mouth.
Silence filled the room as realization hit them like a train. Ink slammed his hand on the table making everyone jump in surprise.
"We are going to find the true cruel beings and stop them for they have no cover anymore." Ink declared, filled with determination.
"B-but how? We have absolutely no idea who the real destroyer could be!" Lust questioned.
"We'll... we'll find out then! Surely they'll come out of hiding once I create enough AUs to make them want to destroy on their own." Ink replies. A lot of the Sanses where doubtful about this plan.
"Oh come on! It's not like we have a better plan. What else could we do? We must get back at them... for Error." Ink sighed out the last two words. That sentence alone filled the room with determination.
Classic straightened up, he would just let Error go to waste. He didn't deserved none of the beatings he got. He didn't deserve all the hate that was thrown at him. No, the person who made him deserved it all.
How could they do this to him?
~meanwhile~
Feelings, Karma and Destiny watched as Fate was panicking. Karma and Destiny knew what to do. They nodded to each other and quickly teleported when Fate's back was turned. They already talked to Feelings and they agreed to keep Fate busy while they where gone.
The trio had talked about this moment to finally free Error from Fate's strings. Karma smirked, they had wanted this moment, to see their chosen child to get their much needed revenge.
Destiny smiled, all these years they had been waiting to finally rap their arms around their chosen child.
When they get there they saw Error falling into the void. Karma quickly dove down and scooped Error in their arms. They generally smiled, they never smiled unless it was a smirk or something. They put their hand on Error cheek, Error was knocked out cold. Karma sadly sighed, 'How dare they? Messing with Karma's chosen child?' Karma thought bitterly.
Destiny dove down not so long after Karma did. They were on the other side of Error. They looked at Error with a motherly smile, then looked at Karma.
"No longer will Error suffer from Fate's strings." They pulled out the magic Feelings had offered to give back Error's positive feelings. The magic was in the form of a ball, the ball of magic phased into Error's form. The two figures looked at Error as he unconsciously grew wings. The wings phased throw his clothes. It seems that all that of the three figures that held also unknowingly put some of their power in the ball. Feelings, Destiny, and Karma has held the magic ball. This must have made Error even more powerful. The two only smiled soon after their realization.
"He will have all the freedom that he deserves. A prize for all his hard work in the multiverse, keeping it alive and balanced." Karma continued. Destiny nodded and formed their scepter and raised it high. The scepter glowed and in a moment their surroundings changed. They were now in the new improved "anti-void".
In this anti-void, Fate could not reach Error. Literally, the only people who could enter is Error. The place was endless, but it had multiple places to discover for Error. Karma, Feelings, and Destiny could talk to him while he was there. It was white besides some of the places but it was a calming white. It was also easier to heal in, unlike the other one. The trio had made this for Error a long time ago and added more and more stuff that Error likes.
Karma's smile grew, they knew that it was perfect for Error. They brought Error in a tight hug, careful to not hurt him.
Then, Destiny made a look at Karma, basically saying "Hand him over." Karma rolled their eyes and handed him to Destiny. They smiled and looked at the smaller form in their arms. They brought them close and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead.
Destiny sighed, knowing that they would have to leave. They kneeled down and placed Error down on the low-key soft floor. They stood back up and looked at Karma. The two didn't want to leave Error just yet, but they needed to. Karma sighed and turned away, ready to teleport. Destiny stepped by their side and teleported back.
