Chapter 2:The Party

*Fionna's Pov

"Phew..we showed that monster who's the boss!" I said while marshall puted me on my couch.

"Yeah but I killed it" Marshall said proudly.

"HA! Only because my leg is broken! " I said and crossed my arms. I looked at my bandaged leg, it looked pretty bad but it coulded be worse.

*RING RING PHONE IS RINGING YOU LAZZY BUTT ANSWER RING RING*

"Hey marsh can you give me the phone?" He nodded and gaved it to me.

"Heyo! Fio the great human at le phone"

"WHERE ARE YOU?! WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR PAST 2 HOURS!" Cake yelled in the phone.

"What?! Why?!" I asked in confusion.

"The party! Have you forgot?"

"Ohhh nah I was just..um..getting ready! Um just, I'll be there!" I said hanging up.

That's bad that's really bad! I liked to go on a adventure with marsh but how could I forgot about gum's party?! Ugh why do I forget things so easy when I'm with him? My head spins hmm 'you spin me round, round, baby round, round like a..'

"Hey are you back to Aaa or still in Lala land?" Marshall said and waved in my face.

"Ah no time for lala land! We have to get to the party fast!"I said and slapped his hand away.

"Owye bossy much?" He said. I just ignored him and jumped off my couch.

"AH!" I forgot this stupid injury from my leg! It hurts like hell! I practically I crawled to the closet. "Just one more step and I will get to the wardrobe!" I said like I was crawling on a mountain.

"Hey fi what's wrong?" He asked looking puzzled at me.

"Everything is fine! But it won't be if we don't make it in time at the party!" I said while getting up and opening the closet.

"Well we're allready late chill..um fi what are you doing?"

"Changing for the party" I said like it was the dumbest question I heard so far. Marshall turned and stared at the wall. I was done changing, even if my leg still hurts I'm tuff and I can handle the pain, the dress was bright blue and my hair was in a cute pony tail and of course I had my new bunny headband.

"Is something interesting to watch on my walls? I would like to see too" I said in a teasing tone

"No but behind me it was not long time ago" I blushed, do I really changed in the same room with a boy? In this moment I'm glad it was just marsh and not a perv. I looked down and I saw a pink sword, it must be cake's gift! She knows me so well! I picked up the sword and hided it in my dress, hm I think now dresses are good at two things:1 being a carpet and 2 they can hide things.

"Can I turn now? Your walls are getting boring" Marshall asked.

"Aw common they are in a cool colour, I choosed it!" He turned anyway.

*Marshall's Pov

I could feel my face heated up when I saw her in that dress, don't get me wrong she always looks great but now she looks just beautiful. I can say I was staring for awhile because her smile faded away.

"I know I look stupid in this dress but at least don't stare" she said a lil sad

"No fi it doesn't look stupid at all, it's mathematical!" Really, mathematical? Why can't just say that she's beautiful? I never had problems with telling what I felt before,why is so hard now? Do I feel something for fi? Hm..Nahh she's my best bud,common marsh your just feeling sick because you have to go to that boring as hell party! Yeah that must be for sure! I looked in the mirror (it's a special mirror that I gaved to fi in case that I need to check myself) looking good, I was wearing a t-shirt which it was looking like a tux and dark skinny jeans,not bad for a classy party. I taked fi and floated to the castle. I didn't need my umbrella anymore because it was night allready, I guess time passes fast when your with fi.

Wow gumwad really worked for this party, yeah right more like his banana guards maked all the work and he is getting all the fame, what a plump. I puted fio down.

"Wow this place is awsome!" She said while spinning.

"Yeah, hey wanna get in?" I asked. She nodded and I took her hand in mine, well her is kinda sweaty all right but at least it's warm,I like this warm. When we got in I saw no outher than.. FP who was talking to Gumflup, just flipping great. I still remember what he tryied to do to fi,I will never forget him for that,what would happened to her that night if I wasn't there to protect her? I really don't wanna imagine. I felt myself getting hotter and anger, what is he doing here in the first place?! I think fi didn't said what happened to gumdumb because he seemed to have a lovely chat with him (A/N:not the gay lovely chat here, just enjoyable chat, just making sure) I looked at fi's eyes and I saw that she is scared even if she won't admit it, I squeezed her hand for comfort and she squeezed back in response "Don't worry fi, I won't let that flup to get near you" I whispered in her ear. She smiled wide at me and noded, man how I love her smile.I MEAN like her smile! Geez get a hold of yourself marsh!

*Fionna's Pov

I felt my cheecks getting hotter,I felt happy knowing that he won't let anything bad to happen to me, he is the best bud a girl can ask for.

"Fionna! I'm happy that u finnaly maked here!" Gumball greeted me with a sweetly smile and kissed my hand. He was wearing a dark pink tux, I have to confess that he looked handsome,I used to have a crush on him but I hope that those feelings are lomg gone because I don't need to be rejected two times by the same guy.

"I wouldn't miss my own party for nothing in this land!" I said and raised my fist making him chuckle at my still child side

"Ehem I'm here too ya know?" I heard marshall's kinda pissed voice

"Unfortunately I know" gum said, his smile sweet smile changed into a annoyed one. Really what's with these two? Can't they get along at least for tonight?

"FIO! Finnaly,your here! I was starting to freak out ya know?!" Cake said and hugged me. I patted her head "what took you so long?" She said and looked at my deep blue eyes.

"Well I was adventuring with marsh and time just flew" I said trying to support her weight, my foot is still injured, I'm surprised how I can even walk. She observed my uncomfortable face and let go of me.

"Is something wrong? " she asked and puted her paws on her hips.

"Nu-uh! Just hungry that's all!"I said and gaved my best smile wishing for her to belive me. She gaved in "Ok but if something wrong you can always count on me, aw I love this song!" She said and looked at LM "Is ok sis u can go to dance with your bf" I said but she was allready gone. Yeah I can always count on her but not when she is with her bf,I wonder how is to be in love, do I would act like that too? I hope not because is annoying for the outhers, I mean, just look at cake she seems to don't care if the world ends tonight as long she is with him, I think it would be nice tho.

"Wanna dance?" Marshall asked and took my hand before I could answer.

"Ow..marsh my foot still hurts after our last adventure"i said whispering only for him to hear, if cake finds out she will rip his face off.

"Don't worry I got it" he said and puted me close to him and started to float, I can barely breath, my face was burried in his chest but I don't mind, at least he can't see my tomato face. This lasted like forever till someone tapped marsh's shoulder.

"Can I have this dance?" A to well known voice asked. Marshall noded and let go of me. I looked at him worried and he gaved me the 'don't worry' look. Maybe he just doesn't want to make a scene from just a stupid thing like dancing but still! He promised me! I looked at the young man who was now holding me.

"Long time no see fifi" FP said
