The songs were finally done, the whole hall cheered and clapped, the lead singer thanked everyone for coming to their first gig. Y/N's heart was almost in her stomach from the amount of times the guitarist had looked at her.

"I'm Alex, our guitarist here is Matt," Matt gave a wave and almost every girl began to scream with excitement, but Matt's eyes drifted toward Y/N once again, she smiled back at him.

"And here's his little sister Sara," Alex gestured towards the bassist, she smiled and gave a wave, this time all of the boys whistled, which instantly made her look embarrassed, she kept the same sweet smile from before.

"Last but not least, our drummer Andrew," he stood up from his drums, and Y/N's eyes moved over the drummer once again, sighing. All four of the band members looked like they could be models.

As they exited the stage, everyone returned to their normal activities, most people heading to sit down or to grab a drink.

Y/N and Ava finally began to chat once again.

"He was gorgeous."

"She was gorgeous."

They spoke in unison, both beginning to laugh, moving to the bar to order new drinks.

Y/N then heard high pitched talking and turned to see the group of girls talking to the band, who seemed to be carrying out their instruments.

Matt began to chat with them, along with Sara, the lead singer was helping the drummer carry out his kit to the front door.

Y/N quickly looked away just as Matt glanced over, and her eyes drifted down to her drink and then Ava who was checking her Instagram. Y/N reached into her pocket to pull her phone out, before she heard a familiar low voice from behind her.

"Hey, good thing you got listen uninterrupted this time, right?" Y/N turned around to face the smirking boy,  trying to hide her embarrassment. Ava turned around to see who had spoken and almost spat out her drink.

"You were really good, just don't yank out a girls earphones the next time you want to annoy her," Y/N grinned, trying to hide how much her body temperature had risen in a couple of seconds.

"I'll keep that in mind," he leaned against the bar.

"Seen as I'm just annoying you," his smirk widened. "Maybe there's no point in asking."

"Asking what?" Y/N folded her arms and raised an eyebrow, turning to face him completely.

"I'm having a party, want to come?" He asked, Ava turned around and instantly began to nod, Y/N sighed before nodding.

"When?" Y/N asked, hoping she wouldn't get an assignment to do next weekend. "Next weekend?"

He then began to laugh, "no,"

"Right now."

The music was loud, so loud that everyone was shouting just to hear each other. The open plan living room and kitchen were full to the brim of people dancing or screaming.

Y/N quickly stumbled into the kitchen away from the heated mess, Ava following closely behind.

Sara was in there with two other girls doing shots, she quickly gave them a very cheery beam of her smile and stumbled over.

"Hey, you two are the ones from the gig, right?" She asked, her voice soft, but also slightly slurred. Y/N could feel Ava tense beside her.

"Yup, that's us," Y/N smiled at her, she then passed Y/N a shot glass, before the she and the two girls went back out to the rest of the party.

"Ava, can you stop praying that she's a lesbian, I can literally hear your thoughts right now," Y/N laughed, Ava rolled her eyes, filling a shot glass of her own and then Y/N's.

Vodka.

"Well, here we go," Y/N pinched her nose and down the full shot, Ava following suite.

The night became more hazy the more drinks Y/N had, she was surrounded by unknown people but ended up chatting to several. Some guys were trying to flirt with her and Ava, but she wasn't really in the mood, so kept drifting from room to room.

Ava was in the toilet, so Y/N messily stumbled outside for some fresh air. She opened the door to the back garden, smiling and shutting her eyes when the summer breeze hit her.

"I've been looking for you all night," she looked up and seen Matt smoking a cigarette, he breathed out a cloud of smoke.

"I still don't know the name of the hot angry girl from the music store," he smirked, she fell outside more, and he grabbed her hand to stop her from falling, she then leaned against the wall beside him. "I'm Y/N."

"You really shouldn't smoke you know," she spoke, leaning forward trying to reach for it to take it out of his hand, he laughed, moving his cigarette too high for her to reach.

"All the greats did," he said, she lifted to her tiptoes, still attempting to reach it, but to no avail, so she retorted to lean on back against the wall.

"Yeah but they didn't know how bad it was," she rolled her eyes, her words slurring together making Matt smile. He too seemed drunk, but he was handling it better than her.

"How long have you played guitar?" She asked, he took another deep inhale of the death machine, before breathing out more smoke.

"Since I was 6."

"That's pretty cool," Y/N said smiling, feeling herself becoming more relaxed.

"I learned guitar when I was 5, and piano when I was 7," she murmured, glancing up at the sky.

"Well look at you Miss Genius, how come you're not in a band?" He asked, she sighed, stomping one of her feet.

"None of my friends could play anything," she huffed, he smiled once again, before she heard her name getting shouted from inside.

She stumbled up the stairs into the kitchen once again, her head starting to spin as she seen Ava and Sara, both their hair messy.

"I was right," Ava sung out, Y/N's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, before Ava turned around to meet Sara and began kissing her, their height difference quite large. Y/N smiled and clapped while laughing.

The two continued to kiss passionately in the kitchen as Y/N passed them and made her way back to the living room. Her head was starting to spin so she sat down on the couch next to some guys.

He began talking to her and she nodded and smiled, hardly aware of what he was saying, only paying attention to key words.

She drank some more things the guys had brought over, all sense of control and common sense leaving her. She danced, her body temperature increasing dramatically in the darkly lit room.

She clumsily manoeuvred her way through the house to the first bathroom she found, and felt her stomach jolt violently as she began to vomit.

The white lights above her made her head spin, she lay on the cold tiles to try and make herself colder but it wasn't working.

Everything was spinning before she heard a voice and a chap at the door.

"Y/N?" The voice asked.

She felt too weak to reply, and her mouth was too dry, the last thing she remembered was the door opening and a pair of startling blue eyes meeting hers before her vision faded.
