Chapted 12

IZUKU POV

I was shocked. He wanted to be my husband? Before I met him I was in such self loathing everyday and I never thought anyone would love me, much less want to marry me. Even though I was shocked, I knew my answer. I love this boy with all my heart and I'd never let him go.

"Sho... of course I'll be your husband. I love you more than the world, and if it were up to me, I'd marry you right here right now." Because his head was still buried in my neck I could feel him smile which made me smile.

I moved so I could take his head into my hands. I cupped his cheeks and kissed him as the city glittered below us. We sat there in a comfortable silence just me cupping his face touching foreheads.

"Hey Sho?"

"Yeah Izu?"

"C-can w-we get promise rings? Just so everyone knows you're mine? B-because I k-know a lot of girls want you and I want you to be just mine..." he kissed my nose and looked me right in the eyes.

"Of course Izuku, I want everyone to know that you're mine and that I'm yours. Tomorrow we'll go shopping k?"

"Okay Shoto..." I could feel my eyelids getting heavy so I laid my head onto his lap. He stroked my hair as I drifted off into sleep.

The next morning I woke up still on the grassy hill with me in Shoto's arms. His hair was a grassy mess but despite that he still looked handsome as ever. I leaned down and kissed his forehead to wake him up.

"Good morning sleeping beauty," I said. He grumbled then sat up.

I stood and then offered my hand out to him in which he grabbed.

"Come on, my mom is probably worried sick." We walked back home hand and hand. When we were there I grabbed my key from my back pocket and opened the door to a VERY mad Inko.

"You two boys could have at least sent me a text! I didn't sleep last night I was so worried!" Mom walked over and pulled both of us into a hug so tight we couldn't breathe.

"Mom.. ca... brea.. th..." she quickly let go and went straight to the kitchen.

"You boys must be hungry, I made food, sit down." We sat down at the table as our food was served by my loving mother. While she was there I figured I'd break the news...

"H-hey mom?"

"Yes dear?"

"Shoto and I have something to tell you." Shoto didn't expect me to tell my mother so soon and I could tell because his head snapped toward me with wide eyes. To comfort him I put my hand on his leg under the table. The small gesture seemed to relax him a bit.

"Okay what is it honey?"

"W-well Shoto asked if I would marry him after graduation!" I already knew my face was red, but I don't think it was nearly as red as Sho's. Mom looked a bit more than shocked.

"O-oh. That's great honey. Don't you think it's a little soon?"

"Actually I don't mom... Shoto is my soulmate and I love him. If it were up to me I'd marry him now."

"If you're happy, I'm happy. As a mom your happiness is my priority. Welcome to the family Shoto."

TIME SKIP

Shoto and I were walking around the mall looking for a store that would sell rings. I'm so excited I'm sure my smile spread all the way up to my ears. We finally found a store and walked in.

"What do you think if these Sho?" I had found two sterling silver bands.

"I think they're perfect," he said nuzzling his face into the palm of my hand he had picked up.

"Then it's settled." We walked up the the register and gave the lady the rings. After we had checked out of the mall Shoto stopped me under a tree. He took the rings out of the bag and gave one to me and held the other in his finger. He picked up my hand and slid the ring on.

"I, Shoto Todoroki, promise myself to Izuku Midoriya."

I grabbed Sho's hand and slipped the ring on.

"And I, Izuku Midoriya promise myself to you, Shoto Todoroki." After we had promised ourselves to each other he kissed me and we walked home, or at least tried. Shoto stopped on the sidewalk.

"I need to go to my house."

"Why Sho?"

"I'm running out of clothes at your house and I should probably tell my siblings I'm okay."

"Okay, but I'm going with you."

"Izuku what if my dad's there? I don't want you getting hurt because I dragged you along."

"You're not dragging me there, I'm going willingly."

"Fine, but if he's there you better run okay?"

"Okay." We walked to his house in silence and I could tell he was scared. I squeezed his hand tight and kissed his cheek.

"It'll be okay, I am here." (All Might reference intended lol)

When we arrived to the house we snuck in through the window to Shoto's room because he said he always left it unlocked. He grabbed a handful of clothes and put them into a bag. We walked into his sister's room.

"Oh my god Shoto! You're here it been so long! Are you okay? Who's this?"

"I'm fine Fiyumi (is that how you spell it?) and this is my fiancé Izuku."

"Fiancé? Oh Shoto did you meet your soulmate?! I'm so happy for you!" She ran up and hugged Shoto then hugged me too.

"I'm assuming you've been staying safe with him correct?"

"Yes, I just needed more clothes than the ones I bought."

"Okay, I'll let you go... I love you Shoto..."

"I love you too." I waved good by to the white and red haired girl. Sadly, we didn't make it far. Right before we were about to leave we heard the front door open in front of us and Endeavor stepped into the house.

"Shoto? What is this disgrace doing in MY house?"

"I'm just leaving you asshole."

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT RING ON YOUR FINGER SHOTO?!" Dear lord this is bad. I know Shoto told me to run but I can't leave him. I felt him nudge me.

"Izu, run."

"No shoto." Before he could protest his father walked up to him and shoved him against the wall.

"ARE YOU MARRIED TO THIS FAG?!"

"Not yet but I damn sure will be and you can't stop me!" He dropped Shoto and walked up to me. I cowered back into the wall behind me, but that just trapped me. He picked me up by my neck which made me struggle for air. I tried to get his hands off my neck but I couldn't.

"You want him Shoto? Such a pathetic loser?"

"He's not a loser he's the love of my life! Now put. Him. Down!" He started walked to his father and I his quirk activating. He froze the hand that was around my neck and I dropped to the floor gasping for air. Before he could do anything else I grabbed Shoto's freezing cold hand not caring if it froze me, and dragged him out of the house and onto the street. We sprinted as far away from there as possible before I suddenly felt a wave of dizziness take over. I fell to the floor as the color back crowded my vision
