"Oh this looks absolutely marvels on you (y/n)!" exclaimed Mrs. Holmes as I walk out of the dressing room wearing a long (f/c) dress with bright rhinestones. Smiling at Mrs. Holmes who has her hands clamped together under her chin with the biggest smile I have ever seen since the first time I meet her. I remember that day like like it was yesterday, granted it was a year ago Mycroft and I got together. "Mummy! Look! Look! We brought someone from school!" Shouted Sherlock running into the mansion like home on the outskirts of London. A young woman with shoulder length brown hair tied in a messy bun came out wearing a flour covered apron. "Sherlock what are you going on about?" she asked walking into the Fourier like entryway hugging Sherlock. Gently grabbing on his chin she quietly examines the small boy's developing black eye with a frown. "Mycroft.. What happened at school?" she asks surprisingly calmly for a parent whose kid just got beaten up.

Mycroft carefully closed the front door setting his school bag along with Sherlock's abandoned school bag on the floor near the door. Turning his smile slightly fell at the sound of his mother's words. Mrs. Holmes walking into the Fourier with Sherlock on her hip looking for Mycroft when her eyes fell on me. Her eyes grew ten times their normal size as well as her smile. "Oh hello darling!" "See mummy, Mycroft brought (y/n) home!" shouts Sherlock wiggling out of his mother's grip running up to me hugging my waist. "So you are (Y/n)?....I have heard so much about you." I smiled stooping down a bit from Sherlock's added weight. "It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Holmes."

"Did I hear a new voice in my house?" asked a male voice coming from the living room. All eyes went to a man with dark black hair and blue eyes wearing a suit without a jacket. Again eyes were on me as I stand near Mycroft clutching my school bag strap. "Honey this is (y/n)...Mycroft's friend." Mr. Holmes's eyes grew at the introduction. "Girlfriend?" Both Mycroft's and my faces went bright red. "Father please.." Says Mycroft trying to hide his blush, his father only chuckled and receive a light slap from Mrs. Holmes. "Enough, you get on you, let the two go." smile Mrs. Holmes picking up Sherlock's backpack. "Come along Sherly, you must get started on your homework before dinner." Sherlock made a high pitched whine hugging my waist even tighter. "But mum (y/n) and I were going to play pirate." "Well get your homework done and you can before dinner...deal?" Reasoned Mrs Holmes holding out her hand with a smile earning a small nod from Sherlock who ran to her hand.

Once Sherlock and Mrs Holmes returned to the kitchen a soft hand clamped on my shoulder. "We could hang out in my room until dinner if you want.." whispered Mycroft pointing up the stairs. I nodded my head in agreement before following him up the shiny wooden stairs. "You know....I-I would...would you like to...if you want to...to be my girlfriend.." asked Mycroft once we reached his bedroom door. My face lit up with a bright blush, as I nod answer. "I would like that..."

Now I stand in front of a mirror in the most beautiful (f/c) prom dress I have ever seen. With Mrs. Homles and my own mother standing behind me admiring the mirror as well. "This is the one." I whispered smiling spinning around a bit before looking at the two older women behind me. My mother smiled nodding walking up to unzip the dress. "I agree, now you go get back dressed and we can go ahead a pay." While my mother was paying for the dress I followed Mrs. Holmes outside to the next door bakery. We bought three giant cinnamon buns before sitting in at a window table. "Do you love my son?" asked Mrs. Holmes randomly as she pulled apart her gooey cinnamon bun.

The question caught me off guard making a bright red blush flash across my checks. "Well I..I...Er yes I do...I really do love him...why do you ask?" I asked peeling my own cinnamon bun keeping my eyes trained on the soft bread occasionally glancing up at my boyfriend's mother. Mrs. Holmes continued to smile as she eats. "I like you (y/n)..I really hope that you and Mycroft stay together, and maybe get married." Now it's my turn to smile still blushing like a mad woman. My mother soon comes in the bakery holding up the dress bag up to show us my prom dress. "Well here is your dress...is there anything else we need to get for tomorrow?" Handing her the third cinnamon bun smiling. "Nope, all we need is the event itself and Mycroft."

Time skip to tomorrow night. "You look absolutely stunning (y/n)." whispers mom as she pushes back a strand of hair behind my ear. "Thanks mom." I say back with a smile giving her a hug. The sound of footsteps make us pull apart glancing over to the doorway. Mycroft slowly stops before entering the room. "Woah..." gasped Mycroft slightly holding the corsage in his hands. I just smile in response walking forward grabbing his hand. "Ready?" Mycroft just nodded his head smiling before placing the corsage on my wrist.

Then we walk down the car to go to the school. The car ride seemed to fly by as we talked and sang to the radio. When the school came into view the feeling of butterflies filled my stomach. Mycroft slowly opens my door holding out his hand. Slowly I take his hand getting out of his car smiling. "Oh my gosh!!! You two look absolutely amazing!!!" Squealed my best friend Kyla and her boyfriend Elijah. Red tints blushed over both Mycroft's and I's faces with big smiles. "Let's get inside..." suggested Mycroft trying to save the both of us any more than embarrassment.

The four of us move throughout the halls of the school smiling, and greeting friends here and there as the night goes on. Unfortunately Mycroft and I got separated from the many people surrounding us, and with the constant bustled back and forth and dancing here and there made my feet grow sore. Sitting down at one of the many perfectly set up tables pulling off my high heels rubbing the semi forming blisters. Sighing I set the shoes on the wooden surface of the table straightening my dress.

As I finally stop fiddling with my dress the dance floor grows quiet with Ed Sheeran's perfect slowly starts. All the students other than couples start to leave the dance floor. A hand clamps on my shoulder making me jump clear out of my skin. "Oh I'm sorry (y/n)...I just wanted to ask you to dance..." asked Mycroft cringing a bit at startling me. I smile in response taking his hand standing up forgetting my shoes. "I would love to dance with you Mycroft."

Mycroft's smile instantly returns as he leads me to the dance floor. I place my hands on his shoulders as he places his on my waist. We began to sway back and forth looking up into each other's eyes smiling. "You are so beautiful tonight..." whispers Mycroft leaning forwards a bit in a small attempt to hide the red tint dusting his cheeks. Having a similar tint to my cheeks as I place my head on his chest wrapping my arms around his back hugging him close. "Thank you...you look absolutely perfect yourself."

We both continued to sway in a circle hugging each other. A few minutes go by as the song is slowly coming to a close. Mycroft pulls back a bit making me pull back to look at him fully. "I want to say this before I lose the courage too..." In response I tilt my head in confusion letting him continue. Mycroft only tightens his grip a bit trying to pick the right words to say. "I am incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful, smart, kind girlfriend...and I feel like I haven't...well I have but I feel like I haven't really...I mean I wanted to say..." smiling I quiet the rambling with a small kiss. Pulling back I reach up placing my hand against his cheek, looking at the shocked look spread across his face. "I love you too Mycroft...and I'm the lucky one to get such a handsome, caring, loving, clever boyfriend.

Mycroft just connected our lips again making it a lot more passionate kiss. "There we go! That's the first kiss I have ever seen between the two of you." Smiles Kyla as she and Elijah move to our sides. "See, I told you they are gonna get married one day...they are perfect for each other." States Kyla looking up at Elijah giving him a kiss as they slowly dance away. Smiling I place my head back on Mycroft's chest as he hugs me close. "I would like that." He whispers into my hair making me chuckle. "I would love it."
