Chapter 1: The New Girl (Part 3)

I walked Jane to her next classes. Other than History, we had French and Biology together. Scott, Lydia and Kira all looked surprised but none of them said anything. At lunch, Jane sat whith those new guys who I supposed were her brothers, so I sat with my friends.

"Making new friends?" said Lydia, grinning

"Shut up." I said as I put down my tray

"She looks nice." Lydia continued, still grinning

"Just shut it Lyds." I said and she laughed but stopped talking.

Our relationship had grown throughout the past few months, it was sort of a sibling relationship now. I didn't know if I still had a crush on her, though. It looked like there was something going on between her and Parrish. He might be older than her, but I think they'd be happy together.

I didn't find Jane after lunch; we had a free period. Lacrosse tryouts were today; I had totally forgotten about them.

The new guys were there, of course, along with the old team members, a few freshmen and sone guys who failed last season. Lydia was there, too, sitting at the stands and talking to Jane.
