pool party 🌊❤️ (zenzie)

chapter one

   kenzie's pov
i opened my phone to see a notification from my best friend devinity perkins. i open the text message and see that she is hosting a pool party at 9:00 pm tonight. i quickly run downstairs to tell my mom i'm going to devinety's party. "mom!" i yell to get her attention. "yes kenzie," she replies. "i'm going to devinity's party tonight at 9 pm, hope that's okay," i tell her. " you can go. but be safe and smart," she says back to me. "okay mom, thanks, love ya!" i say half way up the stairs. i look at the time on my phone and see that it's already 5:30. so i hop into the shower and start getting ready.
zane pov
"devinity's having a pool party tonight i think we should go," my friend lucas says coming into his room. " yeah that sounds cool," i reply. "it's 5:50 so we have until 8:45 to get ready," lucas informs me. "alright. it's a good thing i packed a swim suit," i tell him. "yeah," he says half listening.
