"What?" Iris gasped, her silver eyes wide with horror.

"They left for their country." The Itraithan guard stated matter-of-factly.

"When?!" She yelled.

"Not too long ago. They left the palace merely thirty minutes ago, so they must have set sail only recently."

She ran for the nearest balcony, throwing the doors open and leaning over the the railing. She spotted the ship not far from the docks, sailing away without her.

Tears welled in her eyes as she screamed from the top of her lungs, "Sinbad, you coward!" She shouted so loudly that her throat hurt.

She called upon the power of her Household Vessel, assuming all of the speed and strength she could gather. She leapt over the balcony, using her power to soften the fall as she ran to the docks as fast as she possibly could.

She flung a blade of air towards the ship and shouted. "Get back here, you asshole!"

Even though they had made their way off the dock and a three-quarters of a kilometer into the ocean, the air she sent flying sliced through the long hair beside Sinbad's ear. His face grew pale as a bead of sweat anxiously slid down his face.

He had thought he heard her yelling but couldn't make it out and wasn't sure. He wanted to hear that voice, although angry, but he was scared to. He wasn't scared of her, but rather terrified of the way she made him feel.

So, he ran away. He ran away from what he was scared of. He made a trade agreement with Itraitha Kingdom and left, leaving behind the assassin, Princess, and woman that caught his heart and held it captive.

More blades of wind slashed through the air, cutting through the edges of his clothing as he dodged them. He felt the waves of fury that emanated through her attacks as he could faintly hear Iris calling him various profanities.

"What the hell did you do?!" Ja'far shouted at the King. "I told you not to do anything you'll regret, idiot!"

He narrowly escaped being sliced and gritted his teeth, grinning as a form of self-preservation for his image as he knew that he was in deep trouble in more ways than one.

"Ja'far," Sinbad began in between the breaths he was trying to catch, "I'm done for."

"What do you mean?!" The shorter man asked nervously, slightly concerned by his phrasing.

"Your King has been taken down." The stress and uncertainty in his amber eyes changed into excitement.

"What the hell are you saying?" Ja'far was clearly panicked and confused.

The violet-haired man stepped on the bow of the ship and dodged one more of Iris's air blades before diving into the water dramatically, per his fashion and persona.

However, swimming would take much too long for him to get to her. Seeing this, his Advisor helped by cutting a small row boat loose from the larger ship and sending it his way so that he could row himself back to the docks. "Pathetic." The white-haired man spat as Sinbad gave him a wave of thanks.

When he got to the dock and climbed from his small boat, Iris had fallen to her knees in a fit of tears. She had deactivated her Household Vessel and sat there weak and defeated as the man causing her so much pain approached her. "Damn you, Sinbad." Her voice muddled by her crying.

He kneeled to the ground with her, wrapping his strong arms around her shoulders and holding her trembling body.

"N-no, asshole." She muttered, feebly pushing against his chest to keep herself from falling apart in his arms. "You left me. You were going to leave me."
