Yuna could feel the furry being in her arms dozing off during their journey home. And that's the last thing she wanted that day. She was hungry for answers. And she wanted them ASAP. Upon arrival, she quietly shut the door, laid the cat, or perhaps pretend cat, on the same old couch, and sprinted towards Jisoo's bedroom.Yuna was relieved to see her sister knocked out just like she had expected. And soon after, she marched towards the unwanted acquaintance to confront him. She didn't know yet whether it was the right decision to bring him home but then again, what exactly had made sense ever since last night happened.
"Okay cat! You've got two minutes to-"
She was cut off mid-sentence at the sight of the "pet" curled up like a fur ball, unconscious to everything. Yuna heaved a helpless sigh. Was it really necessary to interrogate him now? Everyone had suffered through a long night anyway so perhaps her questions could wait. She had no desire of creating yet another scene when it was nearly dawn.
Yuna was clueless to why she didn't feel threatened by a supernatural being resting soundly within the walls of her own home. Perhaps it was the way he looked so harmless. If he did have any evil intentions, he could have done more than just begging her to listen to him back at the police station. She was extremely curious to hear what story he had to offer and she could only hope it wasn't going to bring her trouble.
Thinking no further, Yuna laid down on the couch opposite to the cat's. Her eyelids were beginning to feel heavy, and with one last glance at the porcelain white feline, she was off to dreamland.

The next day, Jisoo had already left for school by the time her older sibling had woken up. And when the latter did so, the noise of ruffling and shuffling from the kitchen was the first to greet her. Yuna squinted her eyes at the wall clock which indicated the time her sister would not be home. And then averting her gaze at the vacant couch opposite to hers, she realized who was currently invading her kitchen.
And at the very moment Yuna's eyes widened. She approached the kitchen with lightening fast speed and saw him, now in human form, with the same Comic-con costume she had seen him wearing yesterday. He was sniffing the pancakes that her sister would be kind enough to prepare for her on a daily basis.
The guest scrutinized the food with immense wonder and awe as if it was some work of art. Yuna then saw him bringing his nose closer to the pancakes, his ears perking up at the sweet aroma of vanilla and butter. And before his outstretching hand could grab a hold of a slice, she barged in, stopping him in his tracks.
"HEY!"
The youthful looking boy jumped in surprise. He quickly directed his attention towards Yuna's authoritative figure now standing inches away from him, sending him death glares as if he had done a terrible terrible crime.
"What do you think you're doing?!" she snapped.
"Ah... I was feeling void of nutrition. The aroma lured me here and I had a feeling that it was edible," he explained, cautiously, pointing to the pancakes.
Yuna furrowed her brows at him. He spoke in the same formal tone as he did when he was disguised as that peculiar policeman yesterday. In addition to that, his soft tender voice, that could make anyone weak at their knees, whirled her mind away. It was if though a marshmallow had been given a mouth to speak and the innocence that dripped from his alarmed face did little to counter that effect.
But wait. Had she just heard him say that he thought the pancakes were 'edible' ? What human in the world DIDN'T know what pancakes looked and tasted like. It then occurred to Yuna, that she had already gone past the point of perceiving him as a normal human being.
