Chapter 10

It's been a long and stressful week for me and Liam. We are trying to hide that there is a demon that's following our family. We have tried to talk to different priests but they all say the same thing. They don't believe a demon is after us because we aren't miserable enough, scared, or have scratches. Clearly the priests didn't see how scared I was. I just want my kids and my husband to be okay. I don't care if this demon hurts me as long as it doesn't hurt my family. I just don't want a repeat at all.

Another week has passed nothing else had happened. I'm starting to get worried. What happens if it attacks when we let our guard down. I realized that I was thinking the worst. So I decided to do some work. My job is writing. I'm a author. I choose to be a author when I decided to move back to my hometown. Once I had Khloe I had to it was hard to choose a major and also work.

I was almost forgetting about the demon. Until something happened to Leo and Liam. They were playing football, and Leo saw something that frightened him. I ran outside as fast as I could. When I got outside Liam was trying to comfort him, but Leo was scared of something. I tried seeing if he would talk to me.

"Leo can you tell me what's wrong?" I asked him hoping he would tell me.

"Mommy there was a scary person or thing." Leo said trying to cry.

"What was the scary person or thing?" I said.

"Its like a solid figure but I know it's not a human. It's like it was no shadow." Leo said crying and hugging me now.

"Its okay. Where did you see this figure?" I said holding onto him for dear life.

"I saw the figure standing next to me and it whispered in my ear." Leo said.

"What did it say?" I asked him.

"The figure wants to destory your and daddy's marriage." Leo said.

"Leo that figure can never destroy me and daddy's marriage ever." I said hoping I'm right.
     "Do you promise mommy." Leo said looking at me with those bluish greenish eyes that he has.
"I promise Leo." I said.
Some more days passed. Liam has became secretive and he's been hiding things. Like usually he gets off at work around 5, but he didn't get from work around 11. I know I sound crazy, but he would text or call me if he's staying late at the office. So when he got home which was around 3 in the morning. Liam left his phone in the kitchen. When he fell asleep I went back downstairs and looked through his phone. I know that it wasn't a smart idea but I had to make sure he wasn't having a affair with some random women.
    I went through his gallery of pictures. There wasn't much there for me to get worried. I went through his emails which were all business emails so there wouldn't be anything interesting there. I went through his messages it seemed all normal until this one text. Her name was Lillian. It seemed like Liam didn't tell her he was married. So I decided to text her saying that he was married. She wasn't replying back so I put down his phone and started heading for the stairs until I heard a buzz coming from his phone. So I almost ran over to his phone. It was Lillian she replied with "She doesn't have to know. As long as we get married because I'm pregnant and it's your baby!" I couldn't believe what I was reading. I almost had a mental breakdown. I decided to go to a hotel room tomorrow with the kids. Until me and Liam get divorced. I just couldn't believe he would cheat on me with a random women. He would always do loving towards me. I just feel like I was good enough for him or worth his time anymore. But for tonight I'm just going to sleep on the couch. I didn't realize it was almost morning. I heard footsteps upstairs moving around. So I go upstairs and confront him if he's seeing another woman.
"Liam I have a question to ask you." I said trying to think it was all a prank.
     "What is it Luna." Liam said looking for something.
"Are you seeing a woman called Lillian?" I said trying not to even cry.
     "How do you know about that. Did you look through my phone." Liam said trying not to raise his voice so he doesn't wake up the kids.
"I did! I guess that Lillian woman didn't know about you being married! What she did know was that she's pregnant and it's your baby!" I said crying and yelling at him.
     "So what if I am!" Liam said yelling at me.
"You also did this to me!" I said making my way to the bathroom to show him the pregnancy test.
     "Wait I'm a dad again to this unborn child that I don't want anymore." Liam said looking at me with this disgusted look.
