I sat on a park bench and took out a book. I specifically chose a big, old dusty book to scare the moronic other kids off. I had begun to read when I heard a soft, purring engine. I looked up, nobody in Craw had such a smooth modern motor. They all drove old, diesel clangers. The last time a modern car came to Craw it was the tax collector, (hardly anyone here pays tax, and I doubt another tax collector will becoming out soon either.)

The car stopped and our climbed a middle aged lady. She waked briskly over to Mrs Rode (a lady who moved here after her husband was killed last year) was sitting on a park bench not far from mine. Not surprisingly this lady didn't notice me.

Mrs Rode called out ,"Cammie", and stood to embrace the lady. The two began to talk and it was a most interesting conversation all about the circle of cavern (?), the CIA and then something really caught my attention this lady was the headmistress for a school for 'exceptional young ladies' and a candidate from Craw!

I slowly turned over an unread page in my book, straining my ears to hear who this candidate was. However the talking had ceased and was replaced a second later by a tap on my shoulder. I looked up to Mrs Rode and 'Cammie', smiling at me.

Mrs Rode says to me, "tell us what we were talking about and you will get a very special offer."

At that moment I knew I was the candidate and if I wanted to leave crappy Craw behind all I had to do was repeat what I heard and that's exactly what I did. Both ladies smiles soon turned to looks of amazement when they realised all I had noticed.

Present Day

A few short months later I was enrolled in Gallagher Academy. I had friends and I was Indigo-Rose. My life before Gallagher was bad and all I could do was mock my town. Now I am Indigo-Rose and I am changed, even though I just began at Gallagher.
