Lucian Flavius POV
Lucian Flavius was very excited. In a hurry, the newly crowned Emperor named him the new Minister of the Arcane and Scientific Knowledge and advances, granting him a vast resource of pure knowledge that he wasn't able to get as Octavus's ward.

He was ecstatic. His dreams of an Age of Enlightenment was coming true. He wanted to bring a age if technological advances to the Imperial Empire and he was going to do that. Grabbing his notepad, he flipped to a page that he was going to invent first.

"Now just to determine the correct substance that would propel the ammunition out of the barrel." Just then, his doors flung open, revealing his great friend, Inigo. Flavius smiled at him, flinging himself onto him like a kid on sweet rolls.

"Woah, relax my big-brained friend!" Inigo exclaimed, surprised about the sudden display of affection.

"I'm just excited to see you! I didn't think I would ever see you again! Please tell me one of you funny but absurd stories!" Flavius said pulling off with giddiness.

"Okay, once when I was a child, I got a butterfly stuck up my nose. I was scared. I thought it would eat my brain or worse, lay it's eggs in my head. But you know me, Inigo the Brave! I was going to solve my problem, even if it killed me! I ran into my father's armory and grabbed a mysterious rocky substance and poured it in my nose. It caused me to sneeze and the butterfly flew out! That is why you don't drink while reading" They both bursted out laughing. But then Flavius stopped, confusing Inigo.

"What is wrong my friend?" Inigo quickly questioned.

"What did your father use the substance for?"

"Oh, he used it as a fuel for the fireworks for the Moon Festival. I believe he called it, Gunpowder?" Inigo answer and Flavius lit up.

"By the Ysmir's overgrown beard! Gunpowder! Why didn't I think of that! Inigo, you are a gosh dang genius!" Under Inigo's fur, he blushed. Flavius wrote this in his notes. Inigo took a drink from his waterskin.

"By the end of this year, the Legion will be equipped with the Boomstick!" Flavius screamed out. Inigo almost spit out his water out.

"My brainiac friend, that has to be the most ridiculous name I've ever heard!" Inigo exploded with laughter. Flavius pouted and turned away

"Then what would you call it furball? Flavius asked

"Well, how about naming it after the substance you're going to use to power it?" Inigo answered. Flavius picked up his notepad and scribbled something down.

"Let's call it, the Gun!"

Octavus Merill's POV
His Legions was ready. They were dressed in their Imperial uniforms but with a blue band on their arms, distinguishing them from the Rebels. They all stood at attention, as Octavus marched down the lines of Legionnaires and smiled. As his tenure of being Emperor was short, he was an experienced tactician, with a wide variety of battle plans coursing through his mind.

He turned towards the Red Ring, seeing the traitor prince waiting, with his soldiers already. Rikke ran up to Octavus.

"Sir, my men are awaiting the orders to attack"

"Please let them go, they haven't attacked anyone. Sir, my son, Prince Orion has asked to go in peace. They are heading towards Morrowind." A fine dressed woman asked, bowing at his feet.

"Duchess Vici, I will honor your request but if he attacks, I will make it my personal mission to kill him." Octavus said, turning around. He passed a shocked Rikke and an upset legion.

"Alright Legionnaires! You heard the Emperor, pack up and return to your barracks!" The Military Governor ordered. All the soldiers immediately followed their orders and moved. Rikke ran to catch up with Octavus.

"He will be back Rikke, I'm sure of it. But I will be ready"

"Yes sir you will. His men will rue the day they messed with the Light-bringer of the Empire." They both laughed and walked back to the White-Gold Tower. Blades agents followed closely behind, blending in with the crowds.

Octavus waved at everyone, but the people had no idea he was the Emperor. The thought he was an General. Octavus stopped and looked at Rikke.

"Rikke, can you do me a favor?"

"Anything my lord"

"A war with the Aldmeri Dominion is inevitable, I want you to recruit a lot of men, I might have to pass a law to make it a requirement to serve and I want more women in my armor!" Octavus ordered, with Rikke being surprised at this request. She nodded and ran off.

A lone Blade approached the Emperor, intending to sneak up on him.

"Delphine, you could stop sneaking, I can hear you" The said woman sucked her teeth

"How do you do that?" Delphine questioned.

"Dragon hearing" Octavus answered

"On the topic of Dragons, why are we protecting Livia? We should be protecting you only Dragonborn"

"Delphine, what is your orders purpose?"

"To Serve and Protect The Dragonborn no matter the cost"

"Exactly! You Serve me, you will do what I told you to do!"

"Yes Dragonborn"

"By tomorrow, it will be Dragonborn Emperor"
