Part 5

Dipper's POV
I pace the front of Manly Dan's house, it'd been over an hour and Faith was yet to come home or even call or anything, then I saw her approach, she had a few scratches on her face from, what I assume, are tree branches.
"Oh Faith! You're back! You-" I stop and stare at her, she had glasses on now "your eyes Faith" I point out
"Chill dad, I simply lost my contacts in town..." she mumbled
"Then explain the glasses and why you have tree branch scratches" I look at her with my arms crossed, she looked at the floor
"Fine... I kinda went into the woods because town was boring.. I'm sorry dad!" She confessed, mumbling in defeat
"Faith, I said not to go there for a reason, there's... bears out there, now please, explain the glasses" I ease up, my stare wasn't as angry and my arms weren't crossed anymore
"W-well... I uh, may have gotten knocked out by hitting a tree and woke up somewhere, this old man was there, I didn't get his name but he has a brother who brought me to their place and gave me these glasses..." She mumbled. An old man with a brother...? It couldn't be Gruncle Stan and Gruncle Ford...
"I see... well, you can see through them?" I ask, walking inside with her
"Yes, or I wouldn't be here right now, I'd be falling around everywhere" she retorts
"Drop the sas young lady, I should ground you for disobeying the one thing I asked" I snap quickly at her, she growls and rolls her eyes
"Whatever dad, go ahead, there's nothing fun to do here anyways, expect the woods" she groans and walks to her room, I guess she's angry. I grab my coat hastily
"Where you goin' Dip?" Wendy asks, I make sure Faith couldn't see and mutter
"To see the Gruncles, Faith said some old man with a brother talked to her, I'll explain later, love you, bye" I kiss her cheek, blushing. Even though we'd been together for a good few years, its still odd kissing her.
"Mkay Dipper" she waves bye as I head out to see my Gruncles for the first time in a few years

Faith's POV
I sat in my room, looking out the window stupid dad, its not like anything happened to me! I think to myself. Then I spot dad walking outside, heading to the one place he told me not to go,the woods. I quicklyI look at him, curious. I open my window carefully, I was good at analysing things and found a good route down from the window, I put my hood up, making sure my eyes were covered and climb down carefully, smirking to myself. How easy! I thought to myself as I sneak after him, he walks deep into the woods, until he reached a hut called 'Mystery Shack' with the 's' fallen off, I remember the name. Oh! That's where I woke up, that weird old dude said it! I say in my mind as dad walks inside, I put my cat headphones in a bag I brought with me and put my hood up, trying to not be recognised as I walk in too, I look around the gift shop. What an odd shack, who'd fall for this?
