Part 8

Ford's POV
I inspected the frozen statue of Bill, the evil demon... I wipe some moss off his face and see a crack
"See Dipper? This is cracking, something is causing Bill to be able to crack out of this stone prison, we must watch our dreams now Dipper" I informed him, he shook his head
"Oh Gruncle Ford, I wish I could but I have Wendy an-" he cut me off
"Dipper, if you want Wendy safe, we need to discover what's really going on here!" I growl before seeing something on the ground, a bit of fabric on a rock
"Hey Dipper, someone's been here recently" I mutter, he takes the fabric
"Oh God, no way... Faith! Wherever you are, come out!" He yells, I look at him puzzlingly but he just puts a hand up, who was Faith? I notice movement by 2 trees nearby
"Dipper, there by the trees" I inform him, pointing
"Faith, get out here now!" He barked, sounding like a grownup...

Faith's POV
"Faith, get out here now!" I hear dad bark, using his fatherly voice, I gulp and look up at Alex, he shrugs, I leg go of him and slowly walk out, looking down at the ground
"Nnng.. Hi..." I mutter, I look up slowly at my father who was glaring daggers
"Young lady! I told you to stay at home and especially out of the woods!" He barked at me
"I- I know d-" I got cut off quickly
"Dipper, explain!" Stanford cut in, looking from me to dad
"Well... Gruncle Ford.. Meet Faith, my daughter" he says, still glaring at me, I wave slightly
"H-hi..." I muttered, he suddenly seems to recognise me
"It's you! From earlier!" He gasped
"You were the one that helped her then, thanks for that by the way, she is so adventurous I don't know what to do with her" he groaned
"No fair da-" I was cut off again, this time by my father
"Be quiet Faith, the grownups are talking" he told me, I groan and look over to Alex who was still hidden, I chimed out of their conversation and headed towards him
"Faith! Get back here!" I hear my dad yell, I cringe and walk over to them again
"Look Faith, go home now. I have to talk to Ford!" He growled at me
"Can I just stay here in the woods?" I groan, I look at his expression and sigh "Please don't make me go back to granpa, he's so annoying!" I whine
"Then go into town properly again!" He retorts as I look over to Alex, he was gone. He must have slipped away
