On September the sixth, Allison walked into the candy shop nearest her house in Orlando, Florida to get a vanilla Coke. It wasn't even summer yet, but she was still insanely hot in the southern heat. While she ordered, she decided to pick up a bar of chocolate for her younger brother. She had lived near Disney World most of her life, but she had never felt such magic as she did when she picked up the Wonka Chocolate Bar by the register. After purchasing her items, she took a sip of the cool drink and slit open the corner ("just to check," she told herself). She saw a glint of gold where the plastic wrapping had been. Her breathing quickened. As she peeled back the wrapper even farther, the first of five Golden Tickets was revealed.
After that, several more Tickets were found. One in Germany by a little girl named Summer. She had purchased a couple of crates from the store she knew was most likely to have a Ticket. One in California was located by a girl named Yuen. She had asked for money to donate to a beach cleanup she was hosting, and someone had added a chocolate bar to the pile of donations. She opened it, since it obviously wouldn't help her cause, but was shocked to find a Golden Ticket inside. One in Australia was found by a boy named Sam. He had created a formula that he said guaranteed a Ticket, when asked by the news. And the last one was found in Canada by none other than Allison's friend Hartley. His school had bought every student a chocolate bar as a beginning-of-the-year gift, and his happened to have the final Ticket.
