Mystic Falls begins the preparations to celebrate the passing of a comet. While Vicki recuperates in the hospital from her injuries caused by a vampire, Stefan uses his abilities to erase Vicki's attacker from her memory, but is interrupted by Matt. Meanwhile, Mr. Tanner warns Jenna about Jeremy's recent behavior and tells her that she is doing a bad job of taking care of the two teenagers. Elena and Damon meet for the first time at the Salvatore house and his revelation about Stefan's past brings Elena closer to the truth.On the night of the COMET, Stefan tells Elena about his past that he had someone in his life and she was Catherine. He told her that she was her true love but then she died and he losed her. Elena was upset but she realised that she had fell in love with Stefan and when he told her about Catherine she was a little bit of jealous but then ignored him. Not too much but she did not want to admit him becasue whenever she saw Stefan, her feelings had grown even more. But finally she admitted her love for him and Elena and Stefan kissed each other. Stefan's brother Damon finds his next victim in Caroline. HE hypnotised her through his eyes (some of the vampired had this ability unlike Stefan) and controlled her. He would use her for everything.
