Chapter 4

~Time skip to the Exam week~
It was Monday and today was the first of the hardest tests in the year. Maths. Koro-Sensei had done a lot to prepare me and the class for this, especially as some idiot of the class challenged Asano that if we win, we can make A class do whatever we want. We all came into class as per usual but skipped registration and went straight into the test, Koro-Sensei was giving us all encouragement that we would do well, the tension was high. Nagisa told us that it would be like a war and it really was. Class 3-E were fighting monsters of questions, stuff that we wouldn't normally have covered at all but thanks to Koro-Sensei this to us was all pretty straightforward. Just remember, take it one step at a time. Break down the question into smaller and easier questions, then bring them all together to make a final answer. Then it hit us. Question 27 had us stuck, I mean what the hell was "Write x2 + bx + c = 0 as (x + b/2)2 + d = 0 and then solving for x" meant to mean? I didn't know the first thing about substitution, let alone solving! The question was hard to begin with but really? No worries just get through it and move on. Not a movement was heard except for the scratching of pencil on paper, suddenly, Koro-Sensei's voice made us jump, "Alright children, there is only 5 minutes remaining, keep going, you are all doing excellent" I was on the last 3 questions when he said this and finished just in time. Everyone in the class sighed a breath of relief, it was over. Now all we needed to do is wait for the results which would be given to us this upcoming Friday, the very last day. To be honest, this term had been fun in class 3-E, and as I spent more time with him, I sort of developed an actual crush on him. I had attempted to kill Koro-Sensei with my knife a couple of weeks ago for the first time and it didn't sit well with me. I felt awful. I spoke to Nagisa as I'm closest to him and he told me to walk up to him with a smile and then try to stab his heart, if that fails, use the gun to at least shoot off one of his tentacles and you can let us do the rest of the work. It was true, I went along with this plan but instead of smiling at him, I pretended to cry, I'm better at portraying negative emotions due to all the time I spent in class A. The plan to kill Koro-Sensei failed of course as I hoped it would. After class though he commended me for my efforts, knowing that I didn't want to kill him. I was snapped away from my thoughts when Koro-Sensei walked up to me and said, "see me after school y/n," with him being my crush I got excited, even if it was a detention i just wanted to spend more time with him, I wanted to get to know him, the person behind the teacher. I nodded and he collected up my paper. When he got back to the front of the class, he had already marked all of the papers except one. That one he put on his desk on its own away from all the others. Why did he do that? More to the point whose is it? That's when the bell signalling the end of the day rang.
