I woke up to the smell of bacon. I opened my eyes and noticed I wasn't home. I jumped up slightly and remembered I spent the night with Sam. Sam was a good guy, he wasn't forcing himself on me or making me uncomfortable. He wasn't trying to make me his so fast he was taking his time. He would listen to me when I spoke about my problems even though he has a lot on his plate. I shook my head smiling slightly and I swung my legs to the edge of the bed. I yawned and rubbed my eyes, I noticed Sam had a bathroom in his room so I grabbed my toothbrush and walked into the bathroom. I looked at mess, my hair had fallen out and was all over the place I had dried drool on the side of my mouth and eye boogers. I cringed at the scene and started brushing my teeth. I washed my face and walked into the room. My phone was on the nightstand, I didn't know how it got there but I walked over to it. I turned it on and seen a message from unknown.
Unknown~ I'm getting bored of being anonymous, I wanna give you a hint. Dunkin
I was confused, why was the hint Dunkin. I shrugged it off and went to the bathroom hopefully Sam didn't mind me taking a shower, I stripped my clothing and remembered I didn't grab my showering stuff. I slightly groaned and looked around, he had mainly manly stuff. I rolled my eyes and grabbed his body wash only applying a little. I washed myself up, I wet my hair and applied a little of his shampoo. Once I was done I turned off the water stepping out. I wrapped a towel around me walking into the room. I locked the door and got dressed, I did my hair half up half down and put on my hoop earrings. I slipped on my puma slippers and walked out of the room phone in hand. I walked downstairs to see Sam in a police uniform. I stopped in place and looked at him, he was talking to the kids when he looked over smiling.
"Good morning sleeping beauty." Sam says placing a plate of eggs and bacon
I continued my walk sitting on the bar stool slowly.
"I um don't eat eggs." I say
"How come?" He asks chuckling
"I hated them ever since Michael was born." I say
"No wonder he doesn't like eggs. I can make you something else before I head off to drop the kids off." He says
"No no it's fine, and I'll take Mikey I don't wanna be a bother." I Say smiling and picking up a piece of bacon
"No it's fine, I'll take him I have to get to work anyways. We still on for dinner tonight?" He asks handing me a cup of Orange juice.
"Yeah, I'll have to find a babysitter for Mikey." I Say
"Can Uncle Kevin watch me?" Michael asks
"If he doesn't have any plans tonight." I Say
"Can Rose come too?" He asks
"Sure." Sam Answers
They cheered and high fived each other. I chuckle at them and finish off the bacon.
"I'm sorry I made you waste your eggs." I Say
"It's absolutely no problem." He says reassuringly
I nod and look away from him when my phone started ringing. Devin's name popped up on the screen, I thought I had blocked him. I simply pressed the power button ending the call.
