honey, but it sounded empty. "Why hello there, little girls. Why don't you come closer so I can get a better look at the two of you."
"Just what I thought you two do have it. You have the soul of one." He said, grinning. "What do you mean, Mister, by the soul of 'one'?" Dawn asked, shaking. She scooted closer to Dusk. The girls both awoke at a banging on their bedroom door. "HEY! SHUT UP I AM TRYING TO SLEEP!" Jeff's voice sounded, it was muffled though. "Cut 'em some slack you stink weed!" Jack's said, he was standing right outside their door. "You girls ok? You were talking- well, yeah, talking real loud in your sleep."
"Yeah, Jack, we're alright." Dawn replied, looking at Dusk. "You sure? You sounded real scared." Jack said. " Uh. . . we're fine! Leave us alone!" Dusk said, biting her lip. "That is a big lie. Now tell me the truth." The girls look at each other. "In the morning." Dawn said, laying down. "It is the morning. It's eight." Jack said. "I'm coming in."
"Ugh. Fine." They groaned. Jack opened the door and flipped on the light. He shut the door and sat down on the love seat. "Now speak." He demanded.
