Third person
Once in another time, there was a beautiful maiden with eyes of ruby and sapphire. She had long beautiful platinum blonde hair with slight pink tips, and beautiful complexion. Her name was Lucinda Aygul, the first Princess of the kingdom of Aygul. It was a kingdom that was known for its red and blue roses. Everyone was overjoyed by the announcement of the queen's pregnancy of the king's first child, but it wasn't till the night Lucinda was born that something mysterious happened. The night the princess was born happened to be the night of a blood moon. The moment she opened her eyes in her mother's arms. The King, Queen, and elders saw that the child's right eye was icy sapphire blue while her left eye was a burning ruby red. From that moment she was said to be a cursed child and would be the downfall of their beloved kingdom by the elders. Upon hearing this the king and queen looked at one another and dismissed the elders' warnings. For how could a child be the downfall for their people.
The years passed and no misfortune had befallen the royal court nor the people of the kingdom. By now most of the royal elders who were displeased by the king's decision to raise the cursed child have passed into the heavens. As the child grew so did the love of the people of the kingdom grew for her.
Time passed and the princess who was now eighteen was about to have her third courting ball as elders called it. Many of the young men she saw were unworthy of her hand and kinship. Until she met a prince from the kingdom close to their borders who went by the name Asriel. He was a kind and warm hearted soul so the princesses thought. Her loyal guard Amis did not trust him for he sensed something sinister behind this prince's smile. Amis did inform the queen and king of this, but this was quickly dismissed.
Months passed and the prince and princess were announced to be the new king and queen. As the former queen and king stepped down but still lived in the castle as advisers. Everything went smoothly until Asriel betrayed the Queen by sleeping with another woman who was the princess of another land. The Queen, who loved her husband very much, cried day in and out for she knew the King never really loved her. Though married they slept in different bed chambers and never did he call upon her. As she summerged herself into royal duties. Once more her heart was shattered when Harold informed her the woman was pregnant with his child. Her Harold who went by the name Amis Lockheart, and was the Queen's closest friend. He wasn't of any noble blood but a stable boy with abnormal red eyes and white hair. He had guarded the Queen's since he was thirteen years of age while the Queen was only ten years of age. That night Amis stayed at the foot of the queen's bed as she wept throughout the night. Soon after that night whispers of more betrayal echoed against the palace walls. King Asriel had ordered his kingdom's men to slaughter all of the men and royals of the Aygul family. Amis overheard this order and immediately informed his Queen Lucinda. As Amis swiftly traveled through the castle word of the former King and Queen of Aygul had been slain as well as the royal court. The castle was also set a blaze as he was halfway to her majesty's chambers. Many of the King's men started lighting the castle on fire. Lucinda's room was in the highest tower of the castle. By the time Amis had reached the chamber to be by Lucinda's side the flames had already consumed their beloved kingdom.
"Amis, what is going on, why is our kingdom a blaze," Lucinda questioned as soon as she saw her faithful knight. Amis quickly informed Lucinda that her beloved mother and father were killed by King Asriel men. Upon hearing the information the Queen collapsed to her knees and wept. As Amis tried his best to console her by pulling her into his arms. Just as they pulled away from one another Asriel entered the room. Pushing Lucinda behind him Amis as he drew his sword pointing it at the king.
"My Queen, please stay behind me." Amis said as he lunged forward taking down king Asriel's men. Once every one of Asriel's men were cut down the fire had spread into the room. The king then drew his own sword lunging into Amis. sometime during the fight Amis took heavy blows to his shoulder and his left side. The more Lucinda watched, the more she couldn't bear to watch her friend die. She was about to dash forward when Ami's sword was knocked out of his hand making a clattering sound as it hit the floor. Leaving no time to spare the King stabbed Amis through the chess causing him to cough up blood. Everything in Lucinda's mind went blank as she ran to catch her dear Amis.
"Amis, Amis! Don't leave me." she cried as her friend lay in her arms.
"You..*cough* You have alway been a selfish Queen, but I... *cough...cough* I myself have been selfish as well...because I've fallen in love with you and I never got to say it. But I promised my last breath I will return to you...My love. " He said with his slender fingertips on her cheek wiping away a single tear as he gasped in between ragged breaths. He gave her one of his rare smiles before his eyes began to cloud over and death took him.
"Amis... Amis wake up ...NO!" She screamed as a rush of wind blows the king into the wall immediately killing him. Tears dropped on the ground, and from those tears crystals formed, and grew around them, encasing them in a giant crystal.
Once the fire went out of the kingdom laid to waste over the centuries. The land had forgotten the kingdom of Aygul and its people, but the stories of the Queen whom cradled her knight in a crystalized stone traveled far and wide. One man found the legendary stone and placed it in a museum but as soon as the museum opened it was shut down. From there it hasn't been seen since. Legend says that the day that the person who has Amis soul within their body touches the stone. The Queen of the past will be released from her slumber. This is where our story began.
Subaru's P.o.v
I was walking around the rose garden when I heard a voice. It sounds like a woman.
"Amis?" I heard a voice say.
I must be hearing things. I continued walking through the garden when I heard it again.
"Amis.." The voice called out again. It was then I decided to follow the voice out of curiosity. Walking toward the mansion I flowed the voice into one of the other towers on the property. It was the one opposite of the one which my mother resides in. As I continued the voice became louder and louder until I made it in front of a white door with a brace door knob. Grabbing the door knob I slowly twisted it making a clicking sound as the door unlatched allowing me to enter. Once I entered the room, I saw that there was barely anything except a large mass covered with a sheet. The room was filled with dust and cobwebs in each corner. Something told me to remove the sheet from the mass. Reaching forward I grabbed hold of the old dusty cloth that covered whatever it was covering and pulled back. A cloud of dust enveloped the room causing me to sneeze and cough.
Once the dust settled, I finally saw what was hidden away, was a crystal that shone in the dim moonlight causing small rainbows to appear on the walls. Yet something was off as I stared more closely I could see a silhouette of a person. As I moved even closer I could finally see it. A woman and she was holding something. Moving even closer I placed my hand on the crystal causing a surge of energy enveloping me causing me to blackout. Me a vampire to black out. I then saw someone in my vision and it looked like...Me.
"Hello I guess you're my reincarnation." He said as he stared at me. The hell? I'm what?
"What are you talking about? Who the hell are you?" I demanded as he smiled at me.
"Sorry where are my manners? My name is Amis Lockheart, and you are my reincarnation. Here let me show you." Amis said as he reaches out to touch my wrist.
"Don't touch me." I retorted in which the smile on his face was gone. He quickly snatched my wrist in his grip. I suddenly got a surge of memories that weren't mine. I saw a small boy with red eyes and white hair. He was completely covered in dust and mud. Then the scene changed to an older version of Amis. He was in a knights uniform with a sword at the hip and he was standing next to a woman but her image was blocked out. Finally the scene changes to this person lying on the ground with hole through his chest. With that he let me go and stepped to the side, letting me see the woman's whos still frozen within the crystal.
"So your name is Sakamaki Subaru, huh? Well Subaru. I have one final request...stay with her and never leave her. Though I am never gone she has been forgotten by our people and the land that surrounds us. So please don't leave her alone." he said almost pleadingly.
"And why should I even do that ?" I asked, arching a brow.
"Because it's your destiny." Amis said as he fade with a bright light
Waking up, I found myself laying on the cold cobble stone floor. Slowly I stood up to see the crystal that was gone and the only thing I saw was a beautiful young girl. Getting up from the ground, I moved closer. She had platinum blonde hair with pink tips within her hair. What the hell happened?
