Chapter 9

Hey peeps, it's currently 2:24 AM as I'm writing this, so I'm like.. Very very tired. Sooo don't expect much. I've been watching Naruto every night for the past week and I'm exhausted. Welp, enjoy the fanfic kiddos. :3

Thomas P.O.V.

I walk into the room.

The doctors all look very upset and are all huddled around James so I don't know what happend.

"Hey.. Umm.. Is everything okay?" I ask.

A doctor turns around to face me.

"Mr. Jefferson, we have some bad news and some good news.." They say.

"What's the good news...?" He asks.

"Well, Mr. Madison's heart disease was cured.." The doctor tells me.

I smile happily.

The disease.. It's gone!!

"And.. What's the bad news?" I ask.

My heart is pumping, hoping that-

"Mr. Madison has passed away during the surgery.." They tell me.

No..

No it can't be...

It can't be true..

I thought.. He was strong enough.. W-what... Happend..

I feel a tear form at the corner of my eye.

"Mr. Jefferson..?" They ask.

"Would you like to see.. Mr. Madison.." They ask.

I nod.

All of the doctors move out of my way so that I could see James.

He's just laying there..

He's gone..

He's really gone...

No..

I look at the doctors with tears in my eyes.

"Why couldn't you save him?!?!?!" I shout.

"Mr. Jefferson-" One of the doctors try to speak but I cut them off.

"NO! YOU COULD HAVE HELPED HIM STAY ALIVE... But.. but.. you didn't.." I drop to the ground.

"Mr. Jefferson, I promise that we did everything we could to make sure that he stayed alive.." One of the doctors say.

"But he's not a-" They cut me off.

"Would you like us to try to revive him again, Mr. Jefferson?" They ask.

I nod rapidly.

They make me sit in one of the chairs.

"Clear!" One of them say.

They shock James.

The monitor is still.

"1..2..3.. Clear!" One of them repeat.

They shock him again.

The monitor starts beeping a bit.

"James!!" I say.

He's still sleeping.

The monitor goes still again.

My heart drops.

"Clear!" They shock James once again.

The monitor starts beeping normally.

"James.." I say.

He starts stretching a bit.

"James!!" I say.

He starts to open his eyes.

I smile and run to the hospital bed.

He looks at me and smiles.

"...I..I..Made it..." He says quietly.

My heart flutters and I smile.

"Yes... Yes you did." I say and kiss him.

The doctors stare at us then leave.

I'm now sitting on the end of the hospital bed.

"Hey James..?" I ask.

He looks at me.

"When will they fix your freaking leg?" I ask.

He laughs.

"I don't even know." He says.

We both chuckle.

...

Awkward silence.

"Hey..." James says.

"Hmm..?" I say.

"..you stayed..you stayed her waiting for me.." He says smiling.

My heart skips.

I smile.

"Yeah.. I promised." I say.

He smiles.

(Ok so.. Let's say that James has a cast on.. Idk if I said that he does before but... He does now sooo)

"Hey.. I'm also getting my cast off tomorrow.." He says.

"Yeah. I know." I say.

He looks at me.

He looks very tired.. But.. HE WAS SLEEPING THAT WHO GODDAMN TIME. WTF.

"I'm tired.. Ima.. Sleep.." He says.

"Okay." I reply.

I'm so mother flip flopping tired it's not even funny. ;-; ok soooo ima go to sleeeeeeeeepppp or.. Ima just read some... Naruto x Sasuke fanfics... DON'T JUDGE OK. or maybe Klance.. OK BYE I'M TYPING TOO MUCH. (602 words)
