Alex's POV
A few hours later...
She still hasn't arive yet. I don't know if I should be glad, mad or even worried. It is starting to get dark and dinner is in a hour and I haven't  eaten in a few hours and I'm starting to get hungry. If she is not here in a hour when dinner is ready I will be leaving to go and get dinner. I am tired and irrated and so is Grace my brown four year old Quarter horse. But back to the point,she has five minutes and that is all she has to get where I am before I leave. I don't like new people and now I have a girl working on the ranch that I don't  even know. I look at my watch and counted down from ten, when I reach five my radio went off.
"Alex come in,Alex come in"called Jenna my sister.
(A for Alex and J for Jenna)
A-"What do you want?"
J-"Okay,who kicked your puppy on this fine night?"
A-"I am waiting for that new girl and Grace and I are hungry and irritated "
J-"Yeah about the new girl,ummm
shekindagotlostsosheisgonnabelate"
A-"English"
J-"She kinda got lost so she is gonna be late to meet you at the ranch gate,but feel no fear,mom helped her on the right way here."
A-"Gee,thanks a lot Jen."
J-"The pleasure is all mine."
And with that she turned the radio off. Sometimes she just makes me so mad and my parents wonder why I hate people and spend so much time with Grace and work so much outside and alone. Finally I see a blue truck arive that matches the description that my mom gave me on the new girl's truck.

Amanda's POV
(When she reached the ranch gate where Alex is waiting)

When I reached the farm gate,there was a cowboy on a brown Quarter horse, so I assume it is Jenna's brother  I think his name is Alex I am not sure. Jenna said that he was going to show me a small house not to far from the stables where I will be staying while I work with the horses.
