*Kim's POV*
That place. It had an aura that affected me. It might've been the taint or the flux. I couldn't tell anymore.
Why had Duncan suggested we come back? He knows I hate here, especially since THAT happened. Why was it broken? All the flux must be out in the open. "Duncan" I said as scared as a field mouse when the ploughs are in the fields.
*Duncan's POV*
Anyone could see that she was frightened. It was like a film on a cinema screen. "What's a matter Kim" My voice crackled a bit as I spoke. She'd never been around THIS much flux, no science could predict what her reaction could be.
Calm. Strange. Kim seemed unaffected as I braced myself to receive her dark side. Nothing could bring all of her back from the depths of her troubled mind,
*Kim's POV*
A wave of static flowed through my ears the closer we got to the castles centre. Voices of horror mingled with screams of terror. I don't remember anything else. Purple filled my vision and I hit the ground.
