Chapter 42

Buckle up and get ready for sweet and  romantic chapter.

They woke up the next day around 9am, had their baths and got dressed. They are going to explore the city today. She's dressed in a green blouse with blue jeans from Zara and a nude jacket from M&S and a matching scarf and white adidas sneakers. While Muhammad is dressed in a black jeans and navy blue button up shirt and a baseball hat.

They went to the old city walls, The old city walls of Dubrovnik are one its best-known features. Built in the 10th century and modified in the 13th and 14th centuries, these formidable walls - as high as six meters and up to six meters thick-provided a solid defense against invaders. Totaling nearly two kilometers in length, Dubrovnik's city walls make a great spot for a casual stroll and offer numerous excellent views over the Adriatic and inwards over the old city center.

They also went to the square of loggia, The Square of the Loggia in Dubrovnik has long been a central gathering point for citizens and visitors alike. Featuring some of Dubrovnik's most famous buildings and public monuments, the square of the Loggia is in the north east section of the old city center. It is a really beautiful historic place.

After the square of loggia they went to this amazing place called 'the of fort st.john. And now at the 'Game of thrones walking tour of Dubrovnik'. She is so excited

Their first stop was Fort Lovrijenac, Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Dalmatia Amazing Red Keep, Fort Lovrijenac is situated on a cliff top and there are some stairs to be taken to the top, but once you're there, it is worth the walk. In the gallery you may see some photos of the view from Lovrijenac castle. The walk to the top is not hasty and you will most definitely not be rushed by the tour. Below Lovrijenac there is Pile Bay which was Blackwater Bay Battle location with many exciting scenes. Yasss!! She is so over the moon. Every game of thrones fan has to be!

They moved to the second place which is Lokrum Island Botanical Gardens, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Dalmatia We get to Lokrum by ferry, it takes about 15 minutes in one direction by boat. Amazing, lush, supreme Lokrum island which was serving as City of Qarth in Game of Thrones. Freaking Qarth, the place is so beautiful.

For every GOT fan the absolute highlight is hidden on that little island - the Iron Throne, where you will make unforgettable pictures as The Ruler of The 7 Kingdoms. Muhammad and Layla snapped tons of pictures there as well.

They took a small break on the island for relax, had something to eat (there are two restaurants and a snack bar on the island; or you can bring a picnic) but they ate at the restaurant

After resting for a while and eating, they moved to our next place Trsteno Arboretum, Trsteno, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Dalmatia Hidden botanical garden in a quaint village of Trsteno.

They got to there by a comfortable bus which they previously organised. Once they get from Lokrum to the old town, the guide shows them to the bus (from old town port to there it's about 10-15 minutes of slow walk on foot) and continues the tour with them.

From Dubrovnik to Trsteno there is about 30 minutes of driving. Arboretum was Gardens of King's Landing in Game of Thrones and because it has many plants and trees, it's always nice and cool, even in the hottest summer days. She recalls a scene where lady Margery and and lady Sansa sat and had a talk about joffery while eating lemon cakes.

"Are you excited, babe?" Asked Muhammad.

"So excited baby, thank you so much" She said giving him a tight hug.

Marko was the best tour guide they've had, and they have taken many during their many travels. So much GOT!

They were able to see almost every filming site in the area (including Lokrum Island/Qarth and Trsteno Arboretum/King's Landing gardens) and got lots of behind the scenes/insider info. There was a perfect balance of GOT info as well as Dubrovnik and Croatia history. Well worth the ticket! Less
