Liam's pov
Matt called me earlier to let me know that he made it back to Florida in one piece, I know he didn't want me to know but his voice cracked. No matter how much I asked if he was alright he always avoided the question and eventually hung up saying his parents were there. "Li it'll be ok I promise in fact we can go visit him over break christmas break if you want" Luke says. "Really?" I asked him. "Yeah I don't see why not" he says. "Thank you Lukey" I exclaimed hugging him. Now I'm counting down the days till Christmas break, I'm so excited that I'd be going to visit my best friend from Florida.
Matt's pov
"I told you Matt, I told you this would happen but no you just had to run off with that boyfriend of yours" my mom says. "YOU THINK I DIDN'T KNOW THE RISKS OF RUNNING OFF WITH NASH GRIER?!?! WELL I DID I JUST WANTED TO GET AWAY FROM ALL OF THIS, FROM YOU, FROM DAD, FROM HERE" I yelled as angry tears ran down my face "I just needed some time away from home mom I loved him, I still love him but apparently I meant nothing to him" I mumble. "Oh my baby" mom says but I push her away gently. "No just don't ok I'm back ok, you got what you wanted for the few months I was gone and from the first day you met Nash, you got me back home and now you don't have to worry about Nash anymore" I say walking past her and walking out the door. I had school today and I don't have anyone here with me and I don't have any of my friends here with me, so I'm a loner.
When I got to the school everyone was whispering about me and some new students that started here today. "YO MATT" oh shit!!! Please tell me Austin pestered Juju to send some of his crew here to protect me. "Yeah Nath?" I ask turning to face him.
Luke's pov
Li has been counting down the days till Christmas break and is currently getting ready for our date tonight, we've decided to stay in and cuddle and watch movies.
~2 Weeks Later~
So right at this very moment Li and I are in Florida talking to Max, who moved here to watch over Matt along with Nath, Tom, Siv, and Jay. Max is telling us about how Matt is doing and where he lives, I'm assuming they became friends because if they hadn't maybe they did a school project together. Anyways Li and I left our stuff at the hotel and we're staying at and went to Matt's house. When we got there and knocked on the door a lady and guy answered it looking at Li and I confused. "And who might you be?" the lady asks. "Oh we're friends of Matt Espinosa, we met him when he moved to Shadyfalls, Colorado" I tell them. "Mom, dad" Matt shouts from the stairs. "Yes?" the lady, Matt's mom, asks. "What are you two doing to my friends?" Matt asks them. "Hey Matt" Li says smiling. "Hey LiLi, hey Luke" Matt says returning the smile. Matt pushes past his parents and pulls us away with him as he walks down the street. "Guys I need your help, I can't stay here anymore. They keep telling me what to do, they won't allow me to have any friends, and they took me out of school" Matt says. "Ok" Li says with no hesitation. "Can we leave sometime tomorrow please? I just need to get out of here" Matt says looking beyond tired. This is new to me because he has never looked this tired, not even when Nash hurt him in the worst possible way ever. "Alright we'll be back at your house tomorrow around 11 at night to help you get your stuff" I tell him. "Oh thank you guys I owe you so much" Matt says. "Its no problem Matt really, what are friends for?" Li asks him smiling.
"Luke do you think this is a good idea?" Nath asks me. "Nath when have you ever known me to think things through?" I asked him. "I've only known you for a few months before I had to leave Luke" Nath points out loud. "Oh right" I tell him.
