Cassie's POV

Thank God there wasn't a long line in the bathroom and I immediately found an empty stall. I had held on for so long and I almost peed on myself. I finished my business washed my hands and went out.

Outside, just by the entrance, were three guys blocking the way. They seemed about my age or just a little older. I could smell alcohol and cigarettes on them.

"Excuse me," I said, trying to squeeze myself past them.

"Hey, beautiful. Why don't we step aside for a while." One of them said holding my forearm tightly pulling me behind the washrooms where it was totally deserted.

Don't panic Cassie. I tried to calm myself.

"Please, I need to go. Someone's waiting for me and he'll come looking if I don't go back soon." I said as calmly as I could.

"Your boyfriend?" He asked as he pinned me to the wall.

Is Trent my boyfriend? Is he just a friend? Is this really important right now, Cassie?

"Yes, my boyfriend will come looking for me." I hoped that he was going to come soon.

"Well, I'm going to have a little fun with you and pretty sure you'll like it too." He smiled eerily as he motioned the other two to keep watch.

One hand was holding my shoulder firmly against the wall while with the other one, he took some of my hair in his hand and started smelling it. I was now getting scared. I attempted to scream but he slapped me hard across my face making my head jerk back and hit the wall so hard that I started seeing stars.

"Hey, dude, don't kill her man." I couldn't tell who was speaking.

The ground was rotating and I felt dizzy and I think I felt blood trickling from the back of my head. When the darkness was about to swallow me, the guy holding me was pulled off me and I fell.

From the ground, I could see Trent beating the guys up. It wasn't a fight really, he was beating them up. Then it went dark. The next thing I remember was waking up in his arms then I was out again.

I felt my throat first. It was very dry and I couldn't talk even if I tried. Then my head felt very heavy and I lifted my hand to feel something tied around it. I opened my eyes and immediately regretted because the light burned me.

"Cj, you're up? Here have some water." I felt a straw touch my dry lips and I darted my tongue out to reach for it and sucked the water with all my might. I could tell that that was Trent's voice and I opened my eyes to see him.

This time, my eyes didn't hurt as much and I got to look around. I was in an unfamiliar room. The covers were red and black, unlike mine. The wall was white and green and the position of the window wasn't like in my room.

"Where am I?" I managed to whisper.

"You're in my room." I got nervous and lifted myself too fast and I felt dizzy.

"Hey, hey. Easy. You hit your head pretty hard." He fluffed the pillows and helped me into a sitting position and I had a whole view of his room.

The first thing I noticed was the smell. It smelled just like him. He smelled like fresh pine the morning after a rain. I loved his smell and I openly breathed it in closing my eyes to focus. I heard him chuckle beside me and my cheeks felt hot.

"What happened? Oh God! My parents. I didn't call them." I became frantic, looking around for my phone.

"Hey, please relax. I called them and they're fine. They just said to call them when you woke up." I sighed in relief. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you. I shouldn't have let you go alone."
