Goten shot up in the bed. What was that?
"NO!"
He squinted trying to understand where it was coming from.
"DADDY!"
Goten launched himself out of bed, running down to Tenshin's room. He threw open the door to see his little girl tossing and turning in bed, her face scrunched up into a mask of fear.
"DADDY!" She screamed.
He sat on her bed and stroked her hair. "Tenshin."
Tenshin sat up and looked at him. "DADDY!" She threw herself into his lap and cried.
He held her rubbing her back. "What happened?"
"You were gone again.." She whispered.
Goten sighed. "I'm sorry. I don't plan on going anywhere like that ever again. I promise."
Tenshin just sniffled and buried her head in his chest.
He sat there with her, rocking them back and forth gently. He noticed that the sun was coming up. "Wanna watch some morning cartoons then make mama some breakfast before we go over to Tanin and Tani's?"
She sniffled again and nodded. "Yes sir."
He smiled and stood up, carrying her down the stairs. They watched a couple episodes of her favorite cartoons then he checked the time. "Let's start breakfast."
They made a big breakfast and even washed the dirty dishes. Tenshin squirted some water at Goten. "Tenshin!" He said with a fake frown. She giggled and tried to run but he caught her. He tickled her until Bulla came downstairs.
"Well good morning my babies. Having some fun alone time?"
"Mama me and daddy made you breakfast!" Tenshin with a giggle.
Bulla smiled her eyes wide with surprise. "Really?"
"Yeah. I figured we should spoil you this morning with a large breakfast." Goten said, holding Tenshin on his shoulders.
"Oh Goten you're so sweet! Thank you. Both of you!"
They ate and immediately Tenshin ran and put her shoes on. Goten laughed. "I take it that you're ready to go to Tanin and Tani's?"
"Please!"
They flew over there and as soon as her little feet landed she saw a whisp of purple hair. "TRUNKS!"
"My Tenshin!" He opened his arms and she ran into them.
"Trunks!" She hugged him as tight as her little arms would let her. "I missed you!"
"You silly little thing I saw you yesterday."
"I always miss you though!"
He laughed. "My little Tenshin."
Goten smiled. "I'd give you our little hand shake dance but uh you've got your arms full." He said with a laugh.
Trunks grinned. "Tenshin wanna see something funny?"
"Yeah!"
"I gotta put you down then."
"Okay!"
Trunks put her down and turned to Goten with a grin. "Ready?"
"Of course."
Trunks and Goten tapped their left elbows together, then their rights and grabbed each others hands like they're gonna dance.
Tenshin started giggling. "You two are silly!"
They both laughed. "Yeah, we definitely are." Goten said. "I've been friends with Trunks since we were little kids."
"Daddy whats a Gotenks?"
Goten smiled. "Gotenks? Wow that's a blast from our early teens. Haven't done it since we were like 14."
