Middle school was by far Tony's most eventful time in his life. Each year, he received another confession. It was always a different person about three or four times a month, but in seventh grade he got his first confession from a boy.

Jack was his name, and he was a fairly openly gay guy in the school. He also had a huge crush on Tony since the start of seventh grade, and had sent around five letters throughout the year.

Today was the last day of school, and all of seventh grade was currently funneling in from their buses. Tony of course, was meeting with friends in the band room. He also had to get his band things out of his band locker since it was the last day, so no matter what he had to go to the band room.

"What's this?" Tony asked himself, crouching down to his locker to see a note inside. Opening the locker and taking the letter out, he read it.

Dear Tony,

I've sent letters all year, and have yet to get a reply. If you could please reply today, or reply to my texts, I'd greatly apreciate it.

Sincerely me, Jack.

"Here we go again.." Tony mumbled to himself, grabbing his band binder and putting it in his backpack.

"Hey hey hey Tony!" Tony heard one of his friends, Arjay. He'd placed a hand on his shoulder, but this time it was different from usual.

Tony felt an aching in his heart, as if he wanted Arjay's hand somewhere else.

"Hey man. Can you believe it's already the last day of school? The year seemed to fly by.." Tony said, walking with Arjay to their first period class

"Hah, just like all those confessions that blew right past ya." Arjay joked.

"Pft, yeah well.. I just hadn't been interested in any of them." Tony replied.

Or at least, that's what Tony thought.

Tony happened to share his first period with Jack, the boy who wrote constant love letters to him. The two made eye contact once Tony enetered the room. He imeditaely felt his face heat up.

"This is new.. What's wrong with me today..?"

All throughout first period, Tony couldn't help but keep his eyes on the blond-haired shorty who kept writing him love letters.

"I wonder what would happen if.."

"DRAW FOUR TONYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!"
One of Tony's friends,  Harmin, had shouted during their game of Uno, catching Tony off guard.

"O-oh, yeah, okay." Tony said, drawing four cards from the deck.

"What the hell is wrong with me today?"

Tony reached into his picket for his phone, but ended up feeling the letter from his band locker.

"Is that what's throwing me off? It never has before.."

Tony's next class, science, was another class he shared with Jack.

"Can you believe it Tony? Last day of school!" Tony jumped at the sound of another friend of his' voice, Wyatt.

Quickly Tony folded the letter back up and stuffed it in his pocket.

"Hah, yeah. Crazy right?" Tony responded nervously.
