I woke up before Brendon. I still remembered last night and grabbed Brendon's phone. I looked through his phone. I saw he was chatting with Ryan. I opened the conversation and read it.
We still doing that thing, Brendon? For Aubury.
Hell yeah we are. I'm going to prove to her that we can get married. I don't care what people think.
Alright. I'll get the stuff tomorrow while we're stopped.
I heard Brendon shifting in the bed. I clicked on an app and acted like I was playing it. He looked over my shoulder and snickered.
"Why are you playing truth or dare with yourself?" I felt my face flush.
"I was bored," I stuttered. He smiled.
"You lie so badly. What were you actually doing?"
"Going through your Twitter messages."
"Aubury..." I sighed. His eyes were the death of my good lying skills.
"I was looking through your text messages." He touched my cheek with his freezing hand. I flinched.
"And why did you do that?"
"Because I wanted to see who you were texting." His hand slid down to my waist. He was making me feel guilty and he loved it.
"Why did you want to know? What did you read?"
"I read about the surprise thing." He sighed.
"I didn't want you to know."
"I can forget about it, babe."
"No, it's fine. I'll go tell Ryan it's off." He began standing up. I grabbed his hand, tears slowly running down my face.
"Brendon, please don't." He grinned and sat back down. He put one hand on my waist and used the other to wipe away my tears.
"I didn't want you to cry. I'm sorry babe." He kissed my lips lightly.
"No, it's my fault. I shouldn't have been doing that. Keep the surprise. For Ryan."
"Oh, I am. No way was I going to get rid of that." He grinned. Ryan walked in.
"Hey Bren. The bus is stopped. I'm gonna go shopping. I'll be back soon." He winked at me and left. We sat there in each other's arms until I decided that I wanted to play the Xbox. He carried me into the room and sat me down on the couch. He grabbed two controllers and handed one to me.
"Close your eyes. It's gonna be a surprise," he said. I put my hands over my eyes.
"Okay, open them." He had taken the controller away from me and put in a movie. He sat down next to me.
"What movie?" I asked. He smiled, but didn't say anything. I saw the words, "Frozen" flash across the screen. I groaned.
"What, babe? Don't like this movie?" He grinned, knowing I had seen it numerous times. I smacked his arm.
"You knew I hated this movie." I retorted.
"We could just make out and wait for everyone to come back."
"Anything to get out of watching this movie." And that's exactly what we did until we heard footsteps coming close to the bus. We quickly separated and sat on the couch, acting like nothing happened. Ryan walked in, looking like a girl who just went shopping and spent all of her money. He dropped the bags and plopped down on the couch. I crawled over Brendon's lap and sat on Ryan's. I put my hands on his shoulders.
"Whatcha get me?" I asked, biting my bottom lip. It's not that I find him sexy (*cough* I sorta do *cough*), I just constantly bit my lip.
"That tease isn't going to work. You'll have to wait and see," he said.
