It was another pleasant day in an ordinary school in Yokohama. It could be another after school moment. Many students going left and right, going to their clubs to do their activities. But a peculiar sound could have listened from a single club. The Light Music Room. The place where 'miracles' happen. Sometimes. But...
That sound could have been listened outside the Light Music Club. That song didn't please anyone who could be inside that room.
"I can't believe we played like this!"
The vocalist was irritated with that sound. She was pissed by the quality of the jam session. It was very lousy. Everybody watched her surprised by her unusual reaction.
"We can't play like this in front of the whole school!"
The bassist looked at the vocalist. She raised her voice as she was trying remaining calm.
"But what do you really see different?"
"We need something entirely different. Something vivid."
No one understands that 'something' she meant.
Frustrated, she turned to the window, watching that sunset. She tried reaching that sunset with her hands. But she knew she couldn't complete that with her hands.
"We need something that is far from us."
She held herself as she knew what was going on. "And I'm sure it's close to us. I'm sure of it!"
"And how can you be so sure, Eriko?"
Eriko looked at the girl, trying to reach the sky once again. The foreigner girl stands between the wall and the chair, near Eriko. She was looking in doubt. She wasn't feeling she believes in Eriko's words.
Eriko, with her determinate look, said straight at her. "Benita, I just know it, okay? I know I don't have any psychic power or something like that, but I have a feeling. Deep inside my heart."
Benita was speechless. She merely smiled to Eriko.
The guy behind the drums clapped. "Brave words from our leader."
"Sure is," said the other one holding that blue guitar.
The girl who was holding her red guitar also smiled and looked to Eriko. "You're leveling up in psychic powers, Yamaji-san."
That sarcastic sentence made Eriko blushed at that same moment. "Come on, Ayano. Don't say things like that. It's embarrassing my emotions a lot, you know."
"Maybe you're right," said Benita. "At this moment, someone in this world will be destined to come here. Someone that could make us go even stronger than before. Someone that could bring energy to us all. Someone that can make us believe in that dream we established. Do you remember, right?"
That silent moment came up to that room. And that moment made them stop and look at themselves. Everybody was having a flashback about the past. A flashback that made them remember how they became united by music.
Eriko didn't believe that Benita, a quiet girl, said to them at that moment.
"It feels like yesterday was the first day we came to this band."
"And we know we're not complete yet, girls," said Hikari, the guitarist. "Makoto and I know you strengthen our band. And now that our seniors are not here anymore, we're the ones that we'll have to go forward with the Light Music Club. And more than that, even make our name stronger and fulfill that promise we did last year."
"Yeah. You're right, Hikari. We're going forward. And with that star we're hoping to come, we'll reach far away. Like we never did before."
"CHEERS!"
The happiness struck that room again. And no one could make them go normal after that enthusiasm session. Unless...
DING DONG!
The bell tolls. It was about 6 o'clock. Time to go home. And they knew they did to close the door and leave it until Monday. It was almost 72 hours before playing together again.
"Christ, it's time to go! Come on, Eriko, we'll miss the train."
"Let's pack our things and go home," said a desperate Eriko. "Everybody dismissed."
"YES, MA'AM!"

In somewhere inside Yokohama City...
A boy opened his door to the bedroom, preparing to sleep.
"Good night, Miho."
He entered his room, checking his surroundings one last time. His guitar, near the table, was waiting for him.
He took it for some moments as he looked at the window. He embraced the guitar as he was trying finding the moon above his head.
That last quarter moon tried to shine like a comet crossing the sky.
The clock indicated 9:30 pm. It was April 12th, 2015. He knew the next day was Monday.
"It's finally time for a new world."
The boy was looking toward the sky while embracing tightly his guitar around him. He doesn't want to let it go easily. He glances to the guitar and then to the stars again, trying to find something different.
"I hope everything changes at the new school."
He stood up, closing the window and the curtain during the process. Turned the lights off and got to the bed. He was expecting to find the new world he was looking for.
"Tomorrow is a new day. I hope..."
