I still can't believe what is going on. This wasn't supposed to happen. I shouldn't be alive much less captured because my people are going to die. How in the world am I supposed to do this. I can barley stand people. I can barely stand the situation. The General began to walk away from me and the boy. The boy continued to hold me as he walked towards the gate. The gate has always been a dangerous place. Each wire raced with hundreds of volts of electricity just standing by it could put someone's hair on end. We continued on wards towards the wire wall. Suddenly everyone stopped. I looked at the general. He got some sort of key out of his suit. " what's the point" I said. Their is obviously no lock. And if their was their would be hinges of some kind on the gate. These idiots are so confusing. The general stuck his hand towards the gate. I gasped, his hand went straight through wires. Suddenly a hole began to unravel in the gate. This is getting weird. The boy held me closer and marched on. " hey, will you let me down now. Seriously have you ever heard of personal space." He whispered " trust me, as soon as you're feet hit the ground you're fair game. A lot of these guys are our age, and guys my age deserve to die in the nearest hole" I sneered " well you seem to be making a great first impression" he smiled a little. It wasn't a flashy cliche smile, it was small and soft almost like a happy whisper. Since when do I say crap like that, ugh. Ok, back to the still awkward me being cradled around thing. We began passing over the gate. I looked up, the metal wires crisscrossed overhead, I have never seen anything like it. May has never been up to date on technology so I don't see anything unnatural these days. Soon everyone was a ways away from the gate and my home. The only things I have with me now is Twitter , a whistle, and herbs that I have a feeling are useless,Just like me. Luckily I managed to stuff everything in my bag,( that was quickly given to me by the doctor) including Twitter. Suddenly a steel building came into view, from this idiots arms I could only see some of the building through the dense trees. Honestly I am trying to enjoy the forest hike, I probably won't see another forest for a while. My body was gently lowered onto the ground. I looked at the boy, his face had lost its stupid grin. He seemed to be looking forward, at the building. It is a huge metal dome that reflected light better than any mirror. It felt like looking at the sun. Just without the burning pain and after thought of " why did I do that" not like I did that or something. Anyway, the entire building rested on the thickest slab of white marble I have ever seen. I took an awkward step onto the slab. It was so hard it almost hurt walking on it. Completely regretting my birth I shuffled onwards with the rest of the group. The feeling of dread hadn't stopped filling my heart ( what's left of it ). But while we began entering the dome a new feeling entered me, a feeling that has laid dormant since Tim drowned. Curiosity. And as we all know curiosity leads to awareness. The inside of the dome was just like the outside, metal and bright. White glass lights hung from the giant ceiling and lit up every corner of the dome. No one else was inside but us, which seemed creepy but it saved me from being social (not like I would try anyway). Everyone's shadow flickered behind them, like their eyes. Everyone had taken off their hats and Believe it or not that retard was right. From what I could see everyone was a guy about my age. They all kept staring at me when it seemed like I wasn't looking. Some of them quickly chatted with one another than looked over their shoulder. If it weren't for the train their may have been a great chance of me beating the crap out of everyone. As it turns out this dome is really just a giant train station. Why I haven't noticed the train, who knows. All I know is that a giant metal tube just as reflective as the building pulled into the station. I closed my eyes. This is it, this is truly my time to go. I felt something behind me. Without opening my eyes I responded " I know it's you retard". He cleared his throat
" how did you know"
" I'm sensitive to the idiocy of others"
" ok, but seriously though how?"
" I am serious, what do you want"
" I honestly just want to help you. The general made it clear we need to stick together. Plus you seem like a nice person when your not insulting me" he smiled. I opened my eyes.
" I just want you to know Owl that once we leave that train the general leaves"
I sneered " so what, that's one less problem" we started walking forward.
" people make this city seem like some sort of paradise city where everyone is chivalrous. But that's not true, no one ever gets hurt physically or mentally but words and emotions are the deadliest guns in this forest. These guys look at you like fresh meat. Once you're alone with them who knows what kind of crap they might do" I gulped. This is way to much to stomach. I feel like an Owl trapped in a cage. This idiot might be my best option right now. " follow me out of here, ok?"I whispered. He put that stupid grin on his face. " that's great! I'll take you to the welcome center so we can figure out what to do". We approached the train. Two doors slid open. General butt hole went in first. Then it was me and the boy. Soon everyone was pilled into the train. This is it, my new forest.
