"Something's gone wrong, Isaac's not back yet" Derek announced
"Oh well, he was an inconvenience anyway" a man said carelessly
Derek huffed annoyed, "I have to find him, the Alpha pack might have him"
"Let's suppose they have got him as well, how are you planning to get all of them back? Let's not forget, how are you actually going to fight them? There's one of you and a whole pack of them" the man asked
The heavy iron door stood tall towering over me, as I reached out to grab the rusted handle, the door opened hardly sending out a loud ear piercing creek from it's hinges. Allowing me to see the naturally lit up room behind the door that is now wide.
I walked forward carelessly pulling the door close behind me with another deafening creek, "That's where I come in, boys"
"Derek" I said, nodding my head 'hello'
A giving me a quick hug Derek grated said, "Thanks for coming"
"I told you, if you ever needed help, to call and I would come" I told him with a small smile
A arrogant looking man with pale blue eyes walked over to me, looking me up and down with a smirk, "And how is some little wolf meant to help, let alone a girl?"
I wrapped my hand around his throat slamming him up against a wall with a loud thud and the recognizable sound of bones braking, lifting him off his feet.
"Don't for one second scrutinize me sweetheart" I said with a smirk plastered on my face
Reaching up so my lips were right next to his ear I warned in a low menacing growl "I may be a girl; doesn't mean I won't rip your throat out with my teeth" pulling back only to show him my glowing blood-red eyes.
Derek chuckled, "Looks like V might give you a run for you money Peter"
Smirking I let the man, Peter, go. He dropped to the ground coughing and spluttering, gasping for air.
I walked over sitting down on the lounge crossing my legs, "So, Der, what's happened so far? And what do you need me to do?"
"They have my pack, Erica and Boyd, I think they have Isaac too. I need you to find out who's their leader. How many are in the pack. Who's in the pack. And what they want" Derek told me
"The leader's Deucalion. There's 5 of them including Deucalion himself, Kali is second-in-command, then it goes Ennis, then the twins - Ethan and Aiden. They want you" I told him, "But, not just you, they also McCall..." I looked to my feet mumbling, "And me"
Derek nodded absorbing the information.
"And how do you know all that?" Peter asked with a raised eyebrow
I smirked, "I have my sources" I said teasingly
"What sources would that be" he asked with a smirk of his own
Derek looked up, "How do you know?"
"Ethan" I told them
Peter scoffed, "How can you trust him? How can we even trust you?"
I walked over to Peter seductively, "Cause, I'm the best chance you have at beating Deucalion" I punched him square in the nose then grabbed his head slamming it into the pole, "Never question my loyalty unless you want to end up 6 feet under, again."
When I walked back over to Derek I saw him smirk then turn back to his 'business' face.
"How can we trust Ethan if he's with Deucalion?" Derek questioned
I smiled sadly, "Ethan doesn't want to be in the pack, he's only in it because of Aiden and Aiden's only in it because he saw it as the safest option, the only option"
"So, their on our side?" Derek asked
I thought about it for a second while making a 'not really face', "Well, technically no. But, they kind of are."
"It's a yes or no answer, not kind of" Peter said unimpressed
I sighed, "Ethan and Aiden are technically on Deucalion's side. But, they listen to me because they have more respect for me than for him. If I were to ask to do something they would do it"
"Okay. I—" Derek's phone went off.
Once he looked at it he looked at me worriedly, getting up and grabbing his car keys "I have to go. Isaac's in hospital"
"Derek!" I called, "Don't forget Deucalion's not always blind."
