"50 pieces of chicken nuggets?! Really, Jisung?! This is crazy!" Chenle exclaimed, and looking amazed at the same time when his bestfriend pulled out the big box of nuggets from the bag. The taller opened the box, revealing the delicious, still warm nuggets.
After he opened the box, the aroma spreads out, making Chenle's bedroom smells like McDonalds. The smaller was really happy because it was his first time to see plenty of nuggets, ready to be eaten. He totally couldn't hide his excitement and happiness.
"Grab a bite, Lele.." Jisung smiled while pinching the smaller's cheek. Chenle didn't waste anytime and grabs a nugget, quickly munching it. "Hmmmmm!" he cheered happily, like a small kid.
After finishing that one nugget, he looks at Jisung guiltily. "This is too much, Jisungie.. I mean, this is really expensive, right?" The taller looks at him fondly and starts to ruffle his hair. "It's all worth it, Lele.. Seeing that big smile on your face.."
Chenle blushed on what he said and looked away. "Don't say things like that, Jisung!" he stuttered. Jisung laughs and catches his stares. "Why Lele? Did I made your heart flutter?" he teased.
"Shut up!" Chenle yelled cutely. The taller finds Chenle's reaction cute, so he decided to tease and tease the smaller again. Chenle is laughing happily again and Jisung is also happy, seeing the smaller cheerful again.
He took out from the bag the food Chenle really loves to order at McDonalds. The smaller's eyes widened when he saw the burger, big bag of fries, and a hot fudge sundae as well. "Let's eat, Lele!" Chenle jumps happily at the bed.
They are eating happily at the bed when they heard a knock from the door. It opened slowly, revealing Mrs. Zhong, holding a plate full of chocolate chip cookies. "Wow! My favorite!" Chenle screeched.
Mrs. Zhong puts the plate on the bed and kissed her son's forehead. "I baked this cookies for both of you, so please, enjoy it.." she said fondly. "Thanks Mom!" Chenle replied and kissed his mother's cheek.
"Don't stay out too late, okay?" Both boys nod and she left the room. After closing the door, she smiled. "I am glad that Chenle is at his usual cheerful self.." she thought.
They finished eating all of the nuggets, fries and burger and is now munching on the cookies. "Your mom's cookies are the best, Lele.." Chenle nods. "That's why they're my favorite!" Surprisingly, they finished all the cookies as well.
They are now laying on the bed, while watching a Disney movie at Chenle's laptop. "Let it go! Let it go! Can't hold it back anymore!" Chenle sings along to the movie. "Don't you get tired, Lele?" Jisung whined playfully. "Maybe its because of the chocolate.." Chenle answered playfully.
After a few moments, Chenle fell asleep on Jisung's shoulder. The taller quietly closed the laptop and laid Chenle on the bed, laying also beside him. He hugged Chenle closer while looking at his face. He was clearly fascinated by the smaller's soft features.
Jisung didn't know why but he kissed Chenle's forehead before whispering good night. Then he realized what he did. "What did I just do?!" he thought, questioning himself.
What he can't admit is that he is starting to catch feelings towards his bestfriend. Falling in love bigtime.
