Sam's p.o.v

My heart hurts

Harry's words had hurt me, I was starting to.....it doesn't matter anymore. He hurt me, now he's dead to me. I run into the nearest girls restroom slamming the door closed behind me. I stand In front of one of the many mirrors taking in my image. Red swollen eyes, black lines trailing down my face, flushed cheeks and my hair was slightly matted from me fiercely tugging on it.

A small whimper escapes my lips as I slide down a wall holding my face in my hands. "Are you okay?" I jump at the sound a girls voice coming from a stall. I lift my head to meet a pair of brown eyes. "Holy shit, Sam?"

Emily rushes over to me, bending down to my height. "What happened love?" Her deep accent surfacing.

My lip quivers, eyes getting teary again. "H-harry, he h-hurt me." I stutter. Her hand goes to cover her mouth in shock. "Like physically or-" she questions.

"N-no, he was with the other f-foot ball players, and h-he said horrid things Em' I'm s-so hurt." I say in between sobs. "I don't want to cry anymore, I don't want to feel anything anymore, I just want to stop!" I yell/cry.

Emily's eyes start to develop tears. "Stop what?" She says rubbing small circles on my back.

I hold my head up, taking in a deep breath. "Living."

She brakes down just like I did moments ago. "No, please don't say stuff like that." Her arms wrap around my broken body. "I love you, I haven't known you for long, but I couldn't imagine this world without you. I've known harry since we were in diapers." I can't help but feel a small ping of jealousy towards her. "And I know how he's like. He's a fuck up. He fucks up!" She pulls back from the hug to look at me. "But don't you ever say you want to take your own life. That's happened to many times. " she says the last part quietly.

"Thank you."

"For what?"

I manage a smile. "For being here, when he wasn't."

She shakes her head. "Anytime." She stands from the ground, offering me a hand. I gladly take it. "At least we'll be loners together." She jokes.

"You have niall, I have no one." I say sadly.

"Nope" her smile falls. "He hasn't talked to me all day. Our date was perfect though, I don't know what I did wrong."

"Guys, man, what are you gonna do." She laughs, as do I.

"Wanna ditch?" She asks. I nod my head. "I actually do, I don't feel like dealing with humans today."

I follow her out of the bathroom I notice a large banner on the wall in front of me.

- - -'HOME COMING!! YOU GOT A DATE OR NAH?' - -

"I guess I'm not going to that." I say pointing to the banner. "You can still go, I mean like with friends." She replies, grabbing a few books from her locker.

"I have no friends." I say nonchalantly. Her face shows disappointment, her mouth opens to speak. "I'm your friend." My heart warms at the thought of having a friend. Someone to be there for you when you needed them to, someone to be silly with, someone to have your back, to love you for you. A friend.

She seems to notice my facial expression. "You've had friends right?" I shake my head honestly.

She smiles, wrapping an around my shoulder. "We'll I'm glad I'm your first." She burst out In to laughter, as i stare at her in confusion. "That sounded so wrong."

"I'll call you poodle." I give her a what the hell face. "Ya know, cuz your like a pet, not calling you a dog or anything. Damn it emily why do you say theses things." She face palms. "I meant it in a good way n-"

"Poodle it is." I smile, cutting her off. I see a figure in the comer of my eye watching us. It takes me seconds to realize who it is.

"Harry?" I whisper. His eyes are red, and his face is pale. "Be strong." Emily whispers in my ear leading me away from him.

I nod following her out of the building. "Be strong." I tell my self.
