A/N: I'm going to be switching around the types of POV's a lot to see what one I like writing in best. Last one was 2nd person, this will be third person.

Warning: mention of anorexia and depression. If this triggers you, do not read the parts with the [ and it will end with the ]

"Ugh! Damnit!" (Y/N) heard while walking out to the pool. Miguel was standing in the pool while being red in the face.

"Miguel? Are you alright?" (Y/N) softly whispered out. Miguel turned to face her and put on a smile.

"(Y/N)! Hey!"

"Miguel, what's going on?" She asked, sitting near the pool ledge.

"Nothing! I'm fine! Trust me," he told her:

"No you're not. Miguel, lately you've been aloof and hardly talk to anyone," (Y/N)'s concerned voice was trying to reach out to him but he must've missed it. He always did.

"Aren't you always like that?" He joked. But (Y/N) didn't want to joke around. She bashfully turned her head to the side to have her hair hide her face.

"I'm always like that. You weren't. You were always cheerful and it's easy to see you're faking it." She glanced downwards at him.

"Nobody else seems to notice." He muttered, trying to keep it out of earshot.

"Because you keep letting everyone think you're fine. You get mad if someone tries to help. You're driving them away. Miguel, it's alright to not be alright. Sometimes things get hard. And you. You don't always feel great. And that's fine. But once you let that take over you, it becomes an issue.

"The antidote to negativity isn't positivity. It's warmth and help. You can fake yourself out of this mess. But not if you only convince others you're alright. You have to convince yourself too."

"I can't. I. I really CAN'T convince myself. I can't make myself something I'm not." He protested.

"Miguel. Just. Let everything out. You can't bottle up your emotions. It isn't healthy."

"Okay then... I." Miguel let out a sigh and admitted what's happened lately.

~Timeskip to a week later~

"(Y/N), can I back out?" Miguel whispered.

"No, this helps. Trust me." She whispered back. Miguel was unsure of whether or not he should go to therapy. "It's just for a month and we'll see if you want more time with him."

Miguel sighed as he walked in. (Y/N) had to come with him to make sure he wouldn't back out.

~Timeskip to another week~

"(Y/N), why did you talk about this so educatedly?" Miguel asked as you drove back to Lilac Court.

[ "Well... I used to have to go to therapy. I was anorexic and wanted to die." ]She told him. She went on about her life and Miguel placed a hand on her shoulder as she teared up.

"Listen Miguel. You won't gain anything from misery. Take that advice from me." She told him.

~Timeskip to a month later~

"(Y/N)... Thank you. For everything. I would've never gone to therapy without you." Miguel told her on a beach. She leaned into his chest while they were walking.

"And I just wanted to say that... I've liked you since you moved in. And. I," Miguel was cut off by (Y/N) leaning in and kissing him.

"I love you too."
