WILLOW GAVE herself a good look in the mirror. she was meant to be going over to brendon's house today and yet she felt flustered. she kept eyeing her skirt and wondering if it was too short and she kept looking at her low-cut top and wondering whether to change it. her head snapped and she realised that it shouldn't matter — willow wasn't trying to impress brendon, she already had david. but, she still felt alone.
it was the evening and the sky was merging warm colours together to create a splatter of art. she couldn't keep her eyes off the tones. putting her attention back to the road, brendon's name appeared on the radio and she was quick to pick up. "hey is everything okay?" willow carried worry on her voice, it trembled slightly as she spoke half-heartedly. she heard a hum come from the other side of the phone and she was quick to come up with a conclusion.
"is it too much to ask if you could stop and grab like a bottle of any sort of alcohol? i kind of ran out..." brendon sent an uneasy chuckle to willow and she took the next turning out of the main roads.
