WILLOW AWOKE to her head buried in the crook of brendon's neck and she felt a guilt flood onto her cheeks. it wasn't right. she stood up and tiptoed around, trying to collect her clothes and also find a piece of paper. she left the note scribbled on paper by his pillow, pleading that he would notice it.

hey bren,
i need to get home. thanks for last night, i enjoyed myself.

your favourite,
will

she tried to shut his front door as quietly as she could, but it was a troubling task to do so. she eventually gave up and just slammed it shut, darting to open her car door and drive off. she sent david a quick text and chucked her phone on the passenger seat. she ran her hands through her knotted hair, a sad sigh escaping her pursed lips. david was not one to get irritated or jealous, she had never seen an envious side to him since they had been together. however, it seemed quite evident with the half-argument they had last night, which brendon heard every word of. sinking her teeth into her bottom lip, she tried to maintain her focus on the road ahead.

she sucked in air, not being prepared to bear david. in all honesty, she regretted ever leaving brendon's side that morning. he was so warm and comfortable. it felt like she almost missed him. almost. david was sat watching television in her apartment and she tried to silently remove her heeled shoes and hang her bag. "hey babe." willow grinned over at him, but his face was a straight line. he didn't look thrilled with willow at all. "don't babe me, willow." she rolled her eyes, looking over to the side with a frown. her arms crossed over her chest, she tried to get through to him. "david we were just hanging out!"
