So my upload is going to be today instead of Sunday because I am having surgery on my wrist Thursday and do not think I will be up to typing any time soon. I might even have to skip next week’s upload depending on how I feel. Just so you know the recovery time for this surgery is 1 month to 5 months… but I will probably return to an upload a week after next week’s break…but it is all up in the air right now because I don’t know how much pain I will be in and all of the holidays and such. So please bear with me and wait because I will be back! I promise! Please enjoy the reading and if you did vote and comment!

Jakes POV***

A semi. That’s all I remember. A huge set of lights coming towards us, and a really loud roaring sound. Flipping. Feeling dizzy. Hearing Belle scream in agonizing pain. My screams joining with hers. Then I only hear my screams. Pain. Horrible pain. A sudden halt. Upside-down. I hurt everywhere, in places I didn’t even know could hurt. I look over to see Belle, pinned with a huge gash in her stomach going across it in an x shape. From her left on the hem of her bra to her waistline on her right on a diagonal and from the hem of her bra on the right to her left waistline, meeting in the middle. “Belle?” no answer. I feel the agonizing seconds pass as Belle hangs from her belt not answering. I release my belt and brace for the fall to the hood of the car. I groan as I hit the ground, but I need to see Belle. “Belle?” I say louder. “Belle please answer me!” the semi hit her side, I hurt her. Bad. She will never forgive me for this. If she can ever forgive me. I crawl over to belle’s side of my car, and look at her beautiful face. Full of bruises cuts and gashes yet still amazingly beautiful. She looks almost peaceful. I unbuckle her having her fall gently. She is pale. Deathly pale. I look for my cell in vain trying to find it and call 911. It is gone. My cell phone nowhere in sight. I start to panic until I hear a groan. It is a small almost nonexistent sound and at first I thought imagined it but she slowly moved. She was alive. Barely from how slow she was moving and how weak and disoriented she looked. “Belle?”

“Justin? Is that you?” that is not what I expected and I had to swallow a lump in my throat. “No it's Jake Belle” “I don’t know a Jake though. Are you a doctor?” I felt tears sting my eyes as she said this. She didn’t know me. At all. No recollection, nothing. “No Belle I'm your best friend Jacob. Belle please remember please?” “I'm trying; I'm hurting though, really badly. Everywhere” I felt a tinge of guilt hit me. “Belle don’t worry about remembering me, where is your phone?” I needed to get a paramedic here now. “It was in my pocket I think…but I don’t know.” I heard the tears in her voice. She was crying. “Jacob I hurt. A lot, please stop it.” she said this in a tight voice. “Belle concentrate I need your phone so people can come and help you not hurt. Please Belle think.” She was talking in between sobs now. “It’s...It’s...In...My…poc-owwww…pocket. Please hurry.” I reached in her jeans pocket and retrieved her phone amazed it was still in one piece and working.

I had to pull us out of the wreckage. I was wriggling around when I heard Belle “where are you going? Don’t leave me please. Just don’t leave! I hurt so bad and…and don’t leave I'm scared. Please!” she was hysterically crying. “Belle I'm trying to get us out of the car, I'm going to go first to see if there is a clear path, then I’ll come back in and get you out ok?” “Ok, but hurry.” I quickly found a way to wriggle out of the wreckage. “Belle I'm going to push you through the windshield ok? It's going to hurt a little there is still a lot of glass.” “I don’t want to hurt!” “Belle listen just trust me. I will get us out. Please.” She nodded and I pushed her out of the windshield following closely behind. In the full sunlight I could see her injuries in full. Her stomach was pretty deep but it could be stitched up, she was losing quite a bit of blood, but would probably be ok. Her face was cut and bruised and she was going to need stitches in a lot of places but she was alive and going to stay that way.

“Jacob? I'm cold, really cold.” I looked over to see her shivering. I went over to her and wrapped her up in my arms her back to my chest and my back to a tree. She gripped my hand tightly shaking. “Belle help is coming. I promise.

Belles POV***

I was looking at someone and then jolted to the side. I was spinning so much and I heard crunching, only then did I realize I had been screaming the whole time. I felt my face getting scratched and gashed up then a tearing on my stomach, a horrible feeling of being torn open. Then just nothing. Total blackness.

I came back and I was sitting in an upside-down car, stuck in the car not seeing a way out. I moved my arm and groaned in pain. I heard a voice softly ask “Belle?” it must be Justin, thank goodness he is ok. “Justin? Is that you?” “No it's Jake Belle.” Who’s Jake? Don’t remember a Jake. Nobody. “I don’t know a Jake though. Are you a doctor?” “No Belle I'm your best friend Jacob. Please remember me, please?” I could hear the pain in his voice. I didn’t remember him at all and I'm in so much pain. I took a deep breath in and found out it was a bad idea. It made the pain much worse. “I’m trying, I hurting though, really bad everywhere.” I tried to think hard but the constant excruciating pain was preventing me from concentrating. I felt tears brimming on my eyes because it is all so confusing and I'm in so much pain. “Belle forget about remembering me, where is your phone?” I felt tears spill out of my eyes as I responded “it's in my pocket I think…but I don’t know.” The tears were now flowing free. “Jacob I hurt. A lot please stop it.” “Belle concentrate I need your phone so people can come and help you not hurt. Please Belle think.” I tried concentrating so hard and in-between sobs I said “It’s…It’s…In…My…poc-owwww…pocket. Please hurry.” I felt him dig into the pocket of my jeans as he retrieved my phone and heard him call 911.

Help was coming. They were on the way, soon I would be helped and this pain could come to an end. Soon, I just hope I can last long enough for the help to get here. I look over and see Jacob moving around; he is bailing on me! “Where are you going? Please don’t leave me, please!” I felt tears leaving my body freely and a sob racked my body and it hurt oh god it hurt. “Belle I'm trying to get us out of the car, I'm going to go first to see if there is a clear path, then I’ll come back in and get you out ok?” I nod and realize he cannot see it “ok”. He slowly pulled himself out of the windshield and disappeared. For a moment I thought he left me until I saw his head pop into the empty windshield and his hands reach for me. Obediently I gave him my hands. He slowly and painfully pulled me out. Once fully pulled out I realized I was freezing and started shivering. Jacob seeing this leaned me against him while he leaned against a tree. I felt his warmth radiate around me. The pain ripped through me again and I gripped his hand. I looked back and saw his lips are moving but I heard nothing. My vision started going black around the edges and then nothing. Just blackness.

So did ya like it? I think this was one of the more difficult chapters to write because I personally have never been hit by a semi… and I hope nobody reading has. I know of people who have lived after being hit by a semi so it is possible just not likely. Why do you think belle doesn’t remember Jake? Will she eventually remember him or have to start over on their relationship? You will just have to wait for the next upload to find out! :o

I hope you guys have nice holidays coming up! Enjoy the family time: D don’t forget to vote and comment!

~ps: sorry my notes are kinda confusing it’s been a long week and my mind is a little jumbled >.<~
