The sand squished between my toes, it felt good. I decided to take a walk along the beach. I had taken off my sperries so I could walk in the water. I felt like I couldn't make up my mind. Shawn was so shy and cute and innocent, but Matt was so...everything else. I truly did love him. But being here with Shawn...didn't help.
I sighed, and plopped down on the sand, taking in the breathtaking sunset.
I felt the sand move, as somebody sat next to me.
"You don't have to make it that noticeable that something's wrong." Taylor said. We'd gotten really close once I started dating Matt.
"I know.." I sighed.
"So what IS bothering you?" He asked, looking out at the ocean.
"Shawn and I had a thing when I first met all of you....but then when I started dating Matt, I stopped talking to him. But now being in the same room as him...makes it worse." I said, turning my head to look at him.
"Alex...I know. But Matt is the one for you. He loves you so much more than you know. He's inside right now, confused as hell as to where you are." He then looked at me.
"Be with him."
I hugged him, and then he got up and walked back towards the house. I just lay back, and watched as the sky slowly filled with stars.
