After the Death Eaters left the manor, both Meg and Draco ran up to their bedroom, locked the door, and began discussing the events to come. "If Harry is being moved, why aren't they doing it the day he turns seventeen so no one can track him?" Meg began; Draco didn't have an answer. "I don't know, but it's not safe for you to go and help him move locations. I have a hunch He's going to track you from now on." Meg didn't like this answer, but she knew he was right.

July thirteith came faster than anyone expected. Meg dreaded this day worse than any other day so far because she knew they weren't going to be successful at moving Harry unnoticed. A few hours later, both Meg and Draco heard the Death Eaters return from their journey to track down Harry, and they were not happy with the result, especially Voldemort. Voldemort had been keeping Olivander in the Malfoy's cellar for a little over a year, and he had asked about using another wizard's wand. He used Lucius's wand that evening to take down Harry, but it ended up breaking after dueling him in the air. Once he returned from the battle, he immediately headed down to the cellar to torture Olivander for "lying" to him about the wand. After about an hour of torturing Olivander, Voldemort wanted to exercise his ability to have Meg at his disposal, so he sent one of his Death Eaters to bring her down to the cellar. Once Dolohov entered Draco's bedroom unannounced, Draco tried to protect Meg, but was stunned in the process, and Dolohov grabbed Meg forcibly and carried her down to the cellar. Once back at the cellar, he dropped Meg at Voldemort's feet. "What the fuck?" Voldemort laughed and began to torture Meg for pure pleasure. Meg screamed louder than she did when he tortured her the first time. Voldemort eventually lifted the curse and left Meg for dead on the floor panting and bleeding profusely. Draco awoke from being stunned and rescued her from her fate. He brought her back to his room, set her on his bed, and began to tend to her wounds. The struggle Meg had with the Cruciatus curse was, when she was being tortured, it would cut deeply into her stomach and parts of her chest. Draco spent a half an hour trying to sew her cuts back together while singing to her.

*Song: You're Sensational by Frank Sinatra*

I've no proof when people say
I'm more or less aloof
But you're sensational
I don't care if you are called
"The Fair Miss Frigidaire"
'Cause you're sensational

Making love is quite an art
What you require
Is the proper squire
To fire your heart
And if you say
That one fine day
You'll let me come to call
We'll have a ball
'Cause you're sensational, sensational
That's all

*Draco helped Meg off the bed and began to dance with her*

*Draco held Meg's back against his chest and gently carresed her*

Making love is quite an art
What you require is the proper squire
To fire your heart and if you say
That one fine day you'll let me come to call

*Draco turned Meg to face him*

We'll have a ball cause you're sensational
Sensational; that's all, that's all, that's all

*They kissed each other for a while*

The next morning, Hermione's owl came flying through the window with a letter attached to its foot. Draco untied the letter and read it aloud.

Dear Draco,

You are invited to the wedding reception of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour this evening at the Burrow at seven pm sharp. I hope you can make it, and you will be welcomed by me at the entrance. I really hope you can make it!

Love, Hermione

Once Draco finished reading the note from her best friend, Meg was confused why it only said Draco's name and not hers as well. Draco realized the same thing Meg did rather quickly, "Shit, I forgot I wrote to them about your death two months ago and I didn't correct myself when you came back. I'm sorry, Meg." Meg replied, "No, it's fine. I'll just sit here and continue to be His punching bag while you go enjoy yourself with MY friends." Draco sensed a sarcastic tone in her voice and mended his mistake. "Come with me. It'll be more fun and less awkward if you were there with me! Plus, you could tell them what you know about the real locket they're looking for! Please, Meg?" Meg quickly agreed, "Thank you! Oh wait, how are we getting out of the manor?" "I got that covered. You just need to figure out what you are going to wear!"

After about an hour, both Draco and Meg were ready to sneak out for the second time. Narcissa was the only one who knew because she both supported them and let Meg borrow one of her dresses. Draco and Meg disapparated to the Burrow, but when they arrived at the reception, they were welcomed with mix results. There were Aurors posted all around the tent the celebration was being held, and they recognized Meg instantly, but they were suspicious about Draco. Meg stood up for the love of her life, "He's on our side, I promise! Trust me." The Aurors let the pair through, but they were still suspicious. Once the two entered the tent, Hermione, Harry, Ron, and Ginny all ran to greet Meg. They all hugged Meg and began to cry. Hermione was the first to speak, "We thought you were dead." "For a moment, so did I." "How, what?" "I don't know how to explain it, but I saw my father again, so I think it's a win-win!" They all laughed, and Meg told the group what she knew about the locket. "I can't tell you everything here, but what you need to know is go to Grimauld Place. That's where you're going to figure out who R.A.B. is and what happened to the original locket." Hermione asked the most obvious question, "How do you know about the horcruxes?" Meg replied sheepishly, "My father mentioned them a couple of times, and in the Restricted Section in the library at Hogwarts, there's a book in the very back about Him and his horcruxes." Before the group could respond, Arthur Weasley came up and talked to Meg, "Meg, so good to see you! Could I borrow you for a moment?" Meg nodded and followed Arthur to his workshop. Upon entering, she saw a bunch of radios on the table in the middle. Arthur explained, "These are for the Order. They'll let you know what is happening while you're away from other members." Meg thanked him and put the radio in her bag. Not ten minutes after returning, Kingsley Shacklebolt's patronus appeared in the middle of the room. "The Ministry has fallen. Minister of Magic is dead. They are coming. They are coming!" Everyone began to panic; Draco kept Meg close and urged her to get out of there. "We need to leave, now!" As soon as he said that, Death Eaters threw fireballs into the tent, and everyone apparated out of there. Harry, Ron, and Hermione went together, and Meg and Draco stuck together. Meg apparated Draco to the other side of London. Once they arrived there, Meg began walking to a clearer place, and Draco started asking questions. "Where are we?!" "Sharspry Avenue on the north side. I came here once with Mum, Dad, and Hermione. I don't know why I thought of it, it just popped in my head." She led him to an alley behind a store so they could change clothes. Meg began pulling clothes out of her small bag with ease; Draco was blown away. "What?" "Undetectable extension charm." "You're amazing!" "Always the tone of surprise!"

About fifteen minutes later, Meg brought Draco to an empty café so they could talk about what was next. Draco began, "What about all the people at the wedding? Should we go back?" "They're after either us or Harry. We'll endanger everyone by going back." A waitress interrupted their conversation to take their coffee order. "Coffee?" Meg replied, "A cappuccino please." Draco said the same thing, and they continued. "Where do we go from here? The Leaky Cauldron?" Meg replied, "It's too dangerous. If Voldemort has already taken over the Ministry, then no other places are safe. Everyone would've gone underground into hiding." "I left everything at the manor." Before Meg could respond, two street workers came into the café and Meg gestured to her bag. "I've had all the essentials packed for days just in case." As she explained, Draco studied the two men that walked in a few minutes ago, and saw that they were drawing their wands. He grabbed Meg and put up a table to hide behind when spells were being thrown, and the two men attacked the pair. After ten minutes of fighting, Meg and Draco got the upper hand against the two men and began to investigate. Meg waved her wand to take out the lights and lock the door. Draco walked up to one of the men and explained, "This one's Raoul, he was at the Astronomy Tower the night Snape killed Dumbledore." Meg walked over to the other one, "This is Dolohov. I recognize his smug face from last night. So what are we going to do with you? You'd kill us if it was turned around wouldn't you?" "If we kill them, they'll know we were here. What if we wiped their memories?" "It's up to you." "You're the best at spells." Meg cast the memory charm on both the Death Eaters and disapparated Draco to her parents' old house. Draco asked questions again, "What are we doing here? I thought we were going back to the manor." "If we go back, then both of us would get tortured. This way, we can continue to help Harry, Ron, and Hermione in finding the real locket. By now, they're more than likely at Grimauld Place." That night, Draco and Meg spent the night upstairs, and put a charm on the entrance so if Death Eaters came looking for them, they would be unsuccessful at finding them.
