Unbeknownst to anyone, Harry was in Dumbledore's office looking at Snape's memories in the Pensive. There, he found out the truth about his fate.

Meanwhile, thinking Harry went to the Forbidden Forest to confront Voldemort, Meg, Draco, Ron, and Hermione all waited on the steps outside the front entrance to the courtyard. Suddenly, Harry came walking down the steps behind them. Meg spoke to him first in a worried tone. "Where the hell have you been?" Ron completed her thought, "We thought you went to the forest." Harry confirmed their theory, "I'm going there now." Meg was shook, "WHAT? No, you can't! Not on your own!" Hermione asked, "What is it, Harry? What is it you know?" Harry turned around towards them with a sorrowful expression. "There's a reason I can hear them, the horcruxes. I think I've known for a while, and I think you have too." Meg and Hermione were sobbing, but Hermione was first to speak. "I'll go with you." Harry stopped her, "Kill the snake! After that, it's just him." Hermione hugged him, and Meg began to scold Harry. "I can't let you do this! Not on your own!" "Meg, you have the power to take down Voldemort once and for all." "Harry, the prophecy said for us BOTH to do it! Not just one of us!" "Meg, the prophecy said, 'For one cannot love while the other two survive." Meg wasn't taking no for an answer, but she embraced Harry for the last time. "I love you 3000." Harry broke the hug, still crying, and told Draco, "Take good care of her, Draco." Draco caught Meg, and Harry left for the Forbidden Forest.

Once Harry was away from the castle, and several minutes had passed, Meg began to go on several tangents. "He can't do this on his own! He and I are meant to do this together, but I guess I've done my half. No, I can't think about that. He doesn't have to die for this war to be in our favor! We can't just sit here and wait for the real battle to start! It's not fair to him, it's not fair to us, it's not fair!" Draco took this opportunity to try to get Meg to breathe and calm down.

*Song: All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera*

[Draco]
No more talk of darkness
Forget these wide-eyed fears
I'm here, nothing can harm you
My words will warm and calm you
Let me be your freedom
Let daylight dry your tears
I'm here, with you, beside you
To guard you and to guide you

[Meg]
Say you love me every waking moment
Turn my head with talk of summertime
Say you need me with you now and always
Promise me that all you say is true
That's all I ask of you

[Draco]
Let me be your shelter
Let me be your light
You're safe, no one will find you
Your fears are far behind you

[Meg]
All I want is freedom
A world with no more night
And you, always beside me
To hold me and to hide me

[Draco]
Then say you'll share with me
One love, one lifetime
Let me lead you from your solitude
Say you need me with you here, beside you
Anywhere you go, let me go too
Christine, that's all I ask of you

[Meg]
Say you'll share with me
One love, one lifetime
Say the word and I will follow you

[Both]
Share each day with me
Each night, each morning

[Meg]
Say you love me

[Draco]
You know I do

[BOTH]
Love me—that's all I ask of you

*They kiss. Draco lifts Meg off her feet, into his arms and holds her*

Anywhere you go, let me go too
Love me—that's all I ask of you
