The shadow had dissapeared into the hallway and was not noticed by anybody but Jake. The four other teens had identified themselves as Izzy, Alex, Maria, and Alyssa. They were also strangers to each other.

It was night outside and everybody was still baffled at the fact that one second they were at home doing homework and the next they were wherever they are.

" We should start a fire," suggested Alex. " It's getting cold and we could get hypothermia without one.". "Good idea," said Izzy. Jake found a fireplace in the other room. Then it hit them! What are we going to use to start a fire? Jake remembered what he saw earlier. Should he tell anyone. If so, who? Then he saw her in the faint moonlight. She was beautiful! With dark brown hair and tanned skin, she was anything that a guy wants to see in a girl. She looked at him and had a look of terror on her face. "Could your ideas change the world?" Jake looked behind him and saw the shadow. It was huge and it seemed to have knives sticking out of its hand. Then the moonlight faded and it was gone. Maria looked as if she was in shock. "You okay?". Jake asked Maria. "Yah, um did you see that?" "Yes." Jake answered.

"Guys, I'll go and see if I can find something to start a fire." Said Alyssa. "Fine," said Alex. "Make it quick." Alyssa headed into the dark hallway and dissapeared.

"Where's Alyssa," Jake asked.
